JetWooBuilder. Taxonomy Tiles widget overview

This tutorial uncovers the way of displaying WooCommerce categories in a tiles layout with the help of Taxonomy Tiles widget.

With Taxonomy Tiles widget from JetWooBuilder plugin you can display WooCommerce products categories and tags in the form of tiles and customize them according to your vision. Reading this tutorial will help you create Taxonomy Tiles layout for your shop easily.

Creating Taxonomy Tiles

Step 1 — Firstly, open your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to the Products > Categories. Here you’ll see your Categories with Images, Name, Description, Slug and Count.

Also, you can Add a new category here.

The same applies to Tags. The only difference is that you can’t add images to a tag.

Step 2 — After that, open the page to which you want to add the Taxonomy Tiles widget and drag the widget to the needed section.

Step 3 — The first thing you’ll see in the General Content tab is Layout. Here you can choose the type of layout, Show Count, select Min Height and Rows Number.

Also, there’s an option to choose whether you want to show Categories or Tags. You’re able to Hide Empty and Uncategorized field, Show products by IDs, choose ASC or DESC order, and Sort products by Name, IDs or Count.

The next thing you can do here is to Show Counts, choose the Title Max Length (Words) and Description Length.

Step 4 — Moreover, you can navigate to the Style settings block and change the appearance of the Taxonomy Tiles according to your preferences.

Step 5 — The last thing you need to do is to click on the Publish button and preview the result.
