With JetReviews, <\/em>it is possible to specify default posts, pages, and custom post types to which you would like to add reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create Review Types<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go to WordPress Dashboard > JetReviews > Review Types<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can build a custom review type by pressing the \u201cAdd New Type<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the opened page, complete the Name <\/strong>of the current review type and select the Source <\/strong>(\u201cPost\u201d or \u201cUser\u201d). In this case, we pick the \u201cPost\u201d option as we work with a Custom Post Type <\/strong>(CPT<\/strong>)<\/a> from JetEngine<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, specify the Source Type<\/strong>. For instance, we select the \u201cTour\u201d CPT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Move to the Advanced Settings <\/strong>section and press the \u201cAdd New Field<\/strong>\u201d button to add a new review field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first field we add is called \u201cOverall Experience\u201d (Label<\/strong>). It has the \u201c1\u201d value set as Step <\/strong>and \u201c5\u201d set as Max value<\/strong>, meaning that the evaluation scales from \u201c1\u201d to \u201c5.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For instance, setting \u201c10\u201d as a Step <\/strong>and \u201c100\u201d as Max Value<\/strong> enables users to evaluate posts with \u201c0,\u201d \u201c10,\u201d \u201c20,\u201d \u201c30,\u201d etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leave the default \u201c1\u201d Step <\/strong>with the Max Value <\/strong>of \u201c5\u201d to make the user rate post by the classic \u201c1-5\u201d system, like in this guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cAdd New Field<\/strong>\u201d button once again to add one more review field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second field we add is called \u201cService Quality\u201d, with \u201c1\u201d Step <\/strong>and \u201c5\u201d Max Value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make other adjustments to the review type if needed. For example, we set the Review author verification <\/strong>and Comment author verification <\/strong>to \u201cShop Manager\u201d so only this role can verify the reviews and authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, we activate the Upload media <\/strong>option so the media field is added to the review section, allowing users to add some pictures to their review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once everything is adjusted, hit the \u201cCreate Review Type<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we will add one more review type for the \u201cPosts\u201d post type. To do so, we go to WordPress Dashboard > JetReviews > Review Types <\/em><\/strong>and click the \u201cAdd New Type<\/strong>\u201d button one more time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, we set the Name <\/strong>of this review type, \u201cPosts Feedback.\u201d Then, we leave the default \u201cPost\u201d Source <\/strong>and \u201cPosts\u201d Source Type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving to the Advanced Settings<\/strong>, press the \u201cAdd New Field<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this review type, we add an \u201cInformative Value\u201d field with \u201c1\u201d Step <\/strong>and \u201c5\u201d Max Value<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we press the \u201cAdd New Field<\/strong>\u201d button again and add the \u201cInspiration Level\u201d field, with the \u201c1\u201d Step <\/strong>and \u201c5\u201d Max Value <\/strong>as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make other changes to the review type if needed and press the \u201cCreate Review Type<\/strong>\u201d button when ready.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Add Reviews to Single Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Head to WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > Theme Builder<\/em><\/strong>. Find the single template<\/a> of the first post type where reviews were activated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also create one by clicking the \u201cCreate new page template<\/strong>\u201d button if you haven\u2019t built one before. Ensure the condition<\/a> is set accordingly, and press the \u201cAdd Body<\/strong>\u201d button.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set the already created Single page <\/strong>or build a new option by pushing the \u201cAdd from library<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we will edit the body of the \u201cTour\u201d single template that was built earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the editing. Once the editor (Block Editor or Elementor) is opened, place the Review Listing <\/strong>block\/widget on the page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This widget\/block displays reviews added to the post\/page\/form and a form to add a new review. If there are any reviews added to the post, they will be shown later on the front end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjust the settings<\/a> available for customization.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save the changes by hitting the \u201cPublish<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repeat the same procedure with the second post type. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can adjust settings as desired, using different options for customization. Or, repeat the same customization steps as you did for the first post type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the Result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now open any post of the first post type to check the reviews section. This page will include a review created with the first set of customization settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you open any random post of the second post type, the comments section will include other fields, as we have built a different review type for this post type. Also, the reviews section looks distinct if you put a different design on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
