Things to know<\/div>

The \u201cWooCommerce integration\u201d mode is intended to adjust online payment after the visitor books the service, for example, by using the default WooCommerce pages <\/a> (e.g., orders, payments, check-outs).<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enable the WooCommerce Integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appointments > Settings<\/em><\/strong> and enable the WooCommerce Integration<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, in the WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Products<\/em><\/strong> tab, the \u201cAppointment\u201d sample product will appear. Note that it should remain unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n

Things to know<\/div>

The created \u201cAppointment\u201d sample product is an auxiliary product intended to activate the checkout option. The actual billable products are the \u201cService\u201d type CPT<\/strong> posts. Please, do not delete this sample product \u2014 payments will not work without it. Simply hide it if you do not need it on the front end. <\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Set the Options for the Service Products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To specify the needed options of the \u201cService\u201d type CPT<\/strong> posts (e.g., prices, schedule, etc.), navigate to the corresponding post type tab (the \u201cService\u201c CPT<\/strong>, in this case).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, unroll the needed post, scroll it down to the Appointment Settings<\/strong> section, and adjust the required values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can create different types of appointment booking forms \u2014 a Static Page Booking Form, a Single Service Booking Form, and a Single Provider Booking Form. More specific examples of these types of forms are presented in the How to Set Appointment Booking Forms tutorial<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In this tutorial, we create the Single Service Booking Form<\/a>, which, except for other fields, includes the Appointment Date<\/strong> block field specific to appointment forms. This field allows users to book a date during the booking hours of certain providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, we insert a Calculated Field<\/strong><\/a>, then define FIELD LABEL <\/strong>and FORM FIELD NAME<\/strong>, and paste the following calculation formula:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Read the How to Create Appointment Booking Forms<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>for an in-depth understanding of the appointment settings and the WooCommerce<\/em> integration options set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, the \u201cInsert appointment\u201d Post Submit Action<\/strong><\/a> should be set. In this case, we press the “pencil<\/strong>” button and unroll the Edit Insert appointment<\/strong> pop-up. Here, specify the required fields (e.g., SERVICE_ID FIELD<\/strong>, PROVIDER_ID FIELD<\/strong>, APPOINTMENT DATE FIELD<\/strong>, and more). Next, move to the WOOCOMMERCE PRICE FIELD<\/strong> and set the field to get the total price from. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, scroll the pop-up to the WOOCOMMERCE ORDER DETAILS<\/strong> fields and press the \u201cSet up<\/strong>\u201d button to specify the booking-related info you want to add to the WooCommerce<\/em> orders and e-mails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once completed, press the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button in the pop-up, then return to the \u201cEdit Insert appointment\u201d pop-up. Here, nav<\/span>igate to the WooCommerce checkout fields<\/strong> map to enable auto-filling of checkout form fields. All the data the user has already typed into the form will be automatically inserted into the checkout form fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next, push the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button after you have adjusted the fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this case, we also added the \u201cSend Email<\/a>\u201d Post Submit Action<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, publish\/save the form.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Add the Form to a Page<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Open the single template, customize it as needed, and add the JetForm<\/strong><\/a> widget\/block\/element, depending on the editor you use. Also, the How to Display a Form on the Front End<\/strong><\/a> tutorial provides additional explanations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
