If your Custom Post Type<\/strong><\/a> (CPT<\/strong>) includes numerous meta fields<\/a>, filling them out can be time-consuming \u2014 especially when many of those fields are not always required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The JetEngine <\/em>plugin enables the use of the Conditional Logic <\/strong>function to customize the visibility of each meta field, displaying only the fields that meet specific conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the Conditional Logic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To set up the Conditional Logic <\/strong>for the meta fields, proceed to WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Post Types <\/em><\/strong>and click the \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d button of the needed CPT <\/strong>or create<\/a> a new one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scroll down to the Meta fields<\/strong> tab, and on the right side of each field, click the \u201carrows<\/strong>\u201d icon to add the Conditional Logic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjust the Conditional Rule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When the button is clicked, the pop-up will be opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turn the Enable Conditional Logic <\/strong>toggle on. Then, click the \u201cNew<\/strong> Rule<\/strong>\u201d button.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New fields appear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Field <\/strong>input, you can choose one of the other meta fields that are also attached to this CPT<\/strong>. They are automatically added to the drop-down menu, so you can simply select the one you need. The meta field you are editing will depend on the one you choose in this input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Operator <\/strong>dropdown defines how to compare the value entered in the Values <\/strong>bar with the one from the chosen field. There are four options here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
