For example, you want to send an email to a user submitting the form on your website. With the help of third-party services, you\u2019ll manage to build a link between your <strong>JetEngine <\/strong>forms and other apps. Let\u2019s take a look at how it is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"title1\">Synchronization with Zapier&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"go-to-zapier-account\">Go to Zapier account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/zapier.com\/app\/dashboard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Zapier<\/a> website and log in using your Google or Facebook account to get access to the app features. When the dashboard opens, go to <strong>My Apps<\/strong>, click the drop-down menu, and choose <strong>Gmail<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/zapier-my-apps.png\" alt=\"my apps section of Zapier\">\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to connect your form with some other service, find and choose it in the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/zapier-gmail-2x.png\" alt=\"choose gmail in Zapier\">\n\n\n\n<p>In a separate window that will open shortly, choose the account you want to use and allow Zapier to manage drafts, send, view, and modify your emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"set-trigger-event\">Set trigger event<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, click on the big black \u201c<strong>Make a Zap<\/strong>\u201d button to create a new connection. Zaps have a simple structure; firstly, you choose the event that triggers a chain and then define, actually, the chain of actions that will be performed. So, firstly, pick the \u201c<strong>Webhooks by Zapier<\/strong>\u201d app (it is among the <strong>Built-In Apps<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/webhooks-by-zapier-1-2x.png\" alt=\"pick webhook\">\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>Choose Trigger Event<\/strong> drop-down menu, choose the \u201cCatch Hook\u201d option and press the \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/zapier-trigger-event-2x.png\" alt=\"trigger event\">\n\n\n\n<p>Copy the <strong>Custom Webhook URL<\/strong> \u2013 it will be necessary to create a connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/zapier-copy-webhook-2x.png\" alt=\"Zapier webhook url\">\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to <strong><em>WP Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Forms<\/em><\/strong>, find the one you wish to connect and click the \u201cEdit\u201d button. In the Post-submit Actions \/ Notifications Settings block, click the \u201cAdd Notification\u201d button and start editing it. In the Type drop-down menu, select the \u201cCall a Webhook\u201d option, and in the Webhook URL field, paste the URL address you have copied (<strong>Custom Webhook URL<\/strong>). Hit the \u201c<strong>Apply changes<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Update<\/strong>\u201d buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/call-webhook-2x.png\" alt=\"webhook notification\">\n\n\n\n<p>After that, go to the front end, fill out and submit the booking form as a user does it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"test-connection\">Test connection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Go back to the Zap settings and click the \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d button on the <strong>Customize Request<\/strong> screen. You will see the testing screen of a zap that you\u2019ve just set up. Click the \u201c<strong>Test trigger<\/strong>\u201d button, and it will pull the data from the form you\u2019ve just submitted on your website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/test-trigger-1-2x.png\" alt=\"testing connection\">\n\n\n\n<p>Congrats, the connection is successfully established! Hit the \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/test-request-2x.png\" alt=\"successful request\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-action\">Create action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this block, you choose what will happen once a user submits the form. Pick the <strong>Gmail <\/strong>app from the <strong>Your Apps<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/create-action-2x.png\" alt=\"creating action\">\n\n\n\n<p>Click the <strong>Choose Action Event<\/strong> drop-down menu, select the \u201cSend Email\u201d option, and hit the \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/send-email-1-2x.png\" alt=\"send email action\">\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>Choose Account<\/strong> block, select the Gmail account you\u2019ve previously connected with Zapier and press the \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d button again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, you have to do more detailed customization of the message the user will receive. Choose who it will be sent <strong>To <\/strong>(you can choose the email typed into the form, for example), <strong>From <\/strong>which email address, the <strong>Subject <\/strong>of the letter, and other required fields. Then hit the \u201c<strong>Continue<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"test-your-connection-once-more\">Test your connection once more<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see the created connection between webhook and Gmail. Click the \u201c<strong>Test &amp; Continue<\/strong>\u201d button. If everything is correct, the Zap will be successfully created. Turn it on, and that\u2019s it \u2013 your Zap is now active and ready. Name it to be able to find it in the list of Zaps on the dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/test-success-2x.png\" alt=\"successful zap\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"title7\">Synchronization with Make<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>To integrate with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.make.com\/en\/integrations\/crocoblock?utm_source=crocoblock&amp;utm_medium=partner&amp;utm_campaign=crocoblock-partner-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Make<\/a><\/strong>, you need to log in first and then click on the \u201c<strong>Create a new scenario<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/create-a-new-scenario-2.png\" alt=\"create a new scenario\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"webhook-customization\">Webhook customization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the <strong>&#8220;+&#8221; <\/strong>button, search for the <strong>Webhooks <\/strong>service, and select it from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/webhooks-2.png\" alt=\"webhooks\">\n\n\n\n<p>Pick the <strong>Custom webhook<\/strong> trigger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/custom-webhook.png\" alt=\"custom webhook\">\n\n\n\n<p>On the next screen, you need to press the \u201c<strong>Add<\/strong>\u201d button, enter the name for the Webhook and click the \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>\u201d button. After that, you will see the generated link, which you should copy to the clipboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/webhook-url-2x.png\" alt=\"webhook URL\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"settings-in-the-forms\">Settings in the forms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now you need to go back to <strong><em>WP Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Forms<\/em><\/strong> and edit the one you want to connect with Make. In the <strong>Post-submit Actions \/ Notifications Settings<\/strong> block, you need to click \u201c<strong>Add Notification<\/strong>\u201d and choose the \u201cCall a Webhook\u201d <strong>Type <\/strong>for it. Paste the link to the <strong>Webhook URL<\/strong> field. Hit the \u201c<strong>Apply Changes<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>Update<\/strong>\u201d buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, go back to the Make settings and click the &#8220;<strong>Re-determine data structure<\/strong>&#8221; button. Navigate to the front-end page with that form and submit it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adding-another-module\">Adding another module<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the \u201c<strong>Add another module<\/strong>\u201d button, choose <strong>Gmail, <\/strong>and then pick the <strong>Send an email<\/strong> action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/send-email-integro.png\" alt=\"send email action\">\n\n\n\n<p>Click the \u201c<strong>Add<\/strong>\u201d button near the <strong>Connection <\/strong>bar and connect Make to your Gmail account. You also need to define the email address of the letters to be sent To, the Subject of the letter, the Content, and the Attachments.
