Afterward, click the \u201c<strong>Create Template<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can place any widgets on the checkout page and build the layout you need. However, there is a restriction here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two types of the checkout page template that you can create with the help of <em>JetWooBuilder<\/em> \u2013 the main template and the top template. The main template is assigned to the <strong>Checkout Template<\/strong> option, while the top template is assigned to the <strong>Top Checkout Template<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main checkout template is responsible for displaying the main checkout form. Checkout Coupon Form, Checkout Login Form, and all other Elementor widgets that add a form to the page (like the <strong>Form <\/strong>widget of the <em>JetEngine <\/em>plugin) won\u2019t work correctly in the main checkout template. You better not place them to the checkout template you would like to assign to the Checkout Template option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can display additional forms in the top checkout template. Checkout Coupon Form, Checkout Login Form, and all other Elementor form widgets will work just fine here. On the other hand, other <em>JetWooBuilder <\/em>checkout widgets won\u2019t be displayed correctly in the top template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reason for it is in the coding and the way the forms are displayed. So, once again, the widgets that you shouldn\u2019t place on the main checkout template are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Checkout Coupon Form;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checkout Login Form;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and all Elementor form widgets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The widgets that you shouldn\u2019t place on the top checkout template are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Checkout Additional Form;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checkout Billing Form;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checkout Order Review;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checkout Payment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checkout Shipping Form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"style-title-numecal\" id=\"title4\"><b><span>3<\/span> Step<\/b> <strong>\u2014 Fill the Checkout Page with widgets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the future checkout page is opened in the Elementor page builder, you can start filling it with sections and widgets. Let\u2019s review the widgets offered by the <em>JetWooBuilder <\/em>plugin for the checkout page and see what you can use them for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-coupon-form\">Checkout Coupon Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This widget adds a block that allows customers to enter the coupon code. The block looks like a notification with a button. The coupon adding form appears when the client clicks the button. In the <strong>Style <\/strong>menu tab, you can customize the notification message, button, and form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-login-form\">Checkout Login Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to offer customers to log in before filling out the checkout form, this widget could help. The block\u2019s appearance is similar to the coupon block \u2013 the client will see a notification message and a button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The login form will appear after clicking on the \u201c<strong>Click here to login\u201d<\/strong> button. All the appearance details can be set in the <strong>Style <\/strong>menu tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-additional-form\">Checkout Additional Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The additional information block goes at the end of the checkout and lets clients leave notes about the orders. Add it to the checkout page if you want your client to clarify some order details. Using styling tools, you can change the typography, colors, and background for the label, input field, and heading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-billing-form\">Checkout Billing Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a main checkout page widget that displays a form for the billing data of the client. That form has all the necessary fields to perform billing, so you don\u2019t have to worry about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Billing details fields are fully customizable in the <strong>Content<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"responsive-mode\">Responsive Mode<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can observe that we have activated the <strong>Responsive Mobile Approach <\/strong>toggle, the feature that makes the billing form fit the screen of mobile devices. Let\u2019s look at the mobile device&#8217;s view once this toggle is deactivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And now activate the toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-order-review\">Checkout Order Review<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This widget adds a totals table to your checkout page. It shows the customer short data about the items placed in the cart.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the totals table on the page, the customer can review the order again to ensure everything is correct. The best place for this widget is on the top of the page, before the billing data form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-payment\">Checkout Payment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Here the customer can choose the payment method and finally hit the <strong>\u201cPlace Order\u201d<\/strong> button. There\u2019s also a message with the link to your website\u2019s privacy policy page. If there are no defined payment methods for the client\u2019s region, he will see a notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkout-shipping-form\">Checkout Shipping Form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your company can sell items to other countries and provide clients with shipping services, this widget will help you add a shipping data form to the checkout page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also contains the fields for all the data you need to send the order to the client. In the <strong>Style <\/strong>menu tab, you can fit this block into all the others on the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are done building a main checkout page template, click the \u201c<strong>Publish<\/strong>\u201d button at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat the same steps and create one more template, but this time for a checkout top one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"style-title-numecal\" id=\"title5\"><b><span>4<\/span> Step<\/b> <strong>\u2014 Assign the Template to the Page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The created template is still not attached to the website\u2019s page. To assign it, go to <strong><em>WooCommerce &gt; Settings &gt; JetWooBuilder<\/em><\/strong> and scroll the page down to the <strong>Checkout<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tick the <strong>Custom Checkout<\/strong> checkbox and choose the templates you\u2019ve just created in the <strong>Checkout Template <\/strong>and<strong> Checkout Top Template<\/strong> drop-down menus. After that, click the \u201c<strong>Save Changes<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the front end, add a product to the cart, and you will be redirected to the Checkout page with the templates you created before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-create-a-checkout-template-with-the-jetthemecore-plugin\">How to Create a Checkout Template with the JetThemeCore Plugin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"style-title-numecal\" id=\"title7\"><b><span>1<\/span> Step<\/b> \u2014 <strong>Create a Checkout Template<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the recent update of the <em>JetThemeCore <\/em>plugin, you can create page templates and assign the needed elements like body, header, and footer in a couple of clicks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you move on to creating a template, navigate to the <strong><em>Crocoblock &gt; JetPlugins Settings &gt; JetWooBuilder <\/em><\/strong>directory and make sure that you have all <strong>Thank You Widgets<\/strong> enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to <strong><em>Crocoblock &gt; Theme Builder<\/em><\/strong> and click \u201c<strong>Create new page template<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><meta charset=\"utf-8\">There will be a new pop-up window where you can set one or multiple conditions, according to which the given template will be either shown on specific pages or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/create-page-template.png\" srcset=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/create-page-template-x2.png 2x\" alt=\"create a page template\" class=\"wp-image-28509\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit the <strong>\u201cAdd Condition<\/strong>\u201d button. Firstly, make sure that it\u2019s set to <strong>Include<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the following drop-down list, select \u201cWooCommerce.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the last drop-down menu and choose the \u201cProduct Checkout\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/create-template-for-checkout.png\" alt=\"product checkout for page template\" class=\"wp-image-28765\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you hit the \u201c<strong>Create<\/strong>\u201d button, you will see a new template in the <em>JetThemeCore <\/em>dashboard. Give it a name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, click on the \u201c<strong>Add body\u201d <\/strong>button. Here you can create a template from scratch with the <em>JetThemeCore<\/em> plugin adding the widgets described in the first part of this tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or, you can simply click on \u201c<strong>Add from library<\/strong>\u201d and choose a template you already have, e.g., built with the <em>JetWooBuilder<\/em> plugin.<br><br>The color of the first icon under the <strong>Properties<\/strong> will indicate which plugin was used to create the chosen template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit the \u201c<strong>Use<\/strong>\u201d button. The template is attached to the body now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"style-title-numecal\" id=\"title8\"><b><span>2<\/span> Step<\/b> \u2014 <strong>Add a Custom Header and Footer to the Checkout Template<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>JetThemeCore<\/em> plugin allows adding <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/how-to-create-a-custom-header-with-jetthemecore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">custom headers<\/a> and footers to the templates right from the <em>JetThemeCore<\/em> dashboard.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add an element to the checkout template, head to <strong>Theme Builder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the \u201c<strong>Add header<\/strong>\u201d button, create a new header, or choose one from the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat the same steps and add a <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/how-to-create-a-footer-with-jetthemecore-for-elementor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">custom footer<\/a> if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"style-title-numecal\" id=\"title9\"><b><span>3<\/span> Step<\/b> \u2014 Check the JetWooBuilder Settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you are done with the template layout and design, it is time to check the JetWooBuilder settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong><em>WooCommerce &gt; Settings<\/em><\/strong> and open the <strong>JetWooBuilder<\/strong> tab.
