Using the <em>JetEngine <\/em>plugin, you can create a <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/plugins\/jetengine\/membership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>membership site<\/strong><\/a> with a whole set of features. The <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-dynamic-visibility-module-options-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dynamic Visibility<\/strong><\/a> module is one of them, and it allows you to define parameters of visibility for every element on the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the <strong>Dynamic Visibility<\/strong> module and <strong>Elementor Pro<\/strong> plugin, you can show or hide elements on the front end on particular days. For example, it can be an advertisement or announcement like the picture below. Let\u2019s set it up in a way that it will be shown only on Mondays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/element-with-dynamic-visibility-1.png\" alt=\"example of announcement or advertisement\">\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to any post or page and click \u201c<strong>Edit with Elementor<\/strong>.\u201d<strong> <\/strong>Select any of the elements on the page and go to <strong><em>Advanced &gt; Dynamic Visibility<\/em><\/strong>. Enable the toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the needed<strong> Visibility condition type <\/strong>to show or hide the element. Then click on the <strong>Condition<\/strong> drop-down and choose the \u201cEqual\u201d option. Hit the <strong>\u201cDynamic Tags\u201d <\/strong>button in the <strong>Field <\/strong>and select the \u201cCurrent Date Time.\u201d<strong> <\/strong>Be aware that this dynamic tag is available only with the <strong>Elementor Pro <\/strong>plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/current-date-time-1.png\" alt=\"jetengine dynamic visibility settings\">\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the chosen dynamic tag in the <strong>Field<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>and you will see the window with settings. Select the \u201cCustom\u201d option in the <strong>Date Format <\/strong>field and enter \u201cl\u201d<strong> <\/strong>(lowercase L) in the <strong>Custom Format <\/strong>field; it\u2019s the format character for a day of the week. If you need more information about customizing the time and date format, you can read it <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/article\/formatting-date-and-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Except for the days of weeks, you can enter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>F = month, enter the full name of the month in the <strong>Value <\/strong>field;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>j = day, enter the number in the <strong>Value <\/strong>field;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Y = the year in 4 digits (lowercase y gives the year\u2019s last two digits).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Date-custom-format-1.png\" alt=\"current date time dynamic tag\">\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, enter the name of the day of the week in the <strong>Value <\/strong>field. Be aware that it should start with a capital letter and be in the language set on your website. You can enter several names as values separating them with commas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/value-1.png\" alt=\"jetengine dynamic visibility value to compare\">\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to push the <strong>\u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button after ending the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s try all format characters for days. We have entered \u201cl, F j, Y\u201d in the <strong>Custom Format <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/all-date-formats-1.png\" alt=\"jetengine dynamic visibility value to compare\">\n\n\n\n<p>And we have entered today\u2019s date (Monday, November 15, 2021) in the <strong>Value <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/full-date-1.png\" alt=\"today\u2019s date in the value field\">\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\">\n<p>As we can see, <strong>Dynamic Visibility <\/strong>shows the advertisement on the front end. If we change the date in the <strong>Value <\/strong>field or visit the page tomorrow, this element will be hidden.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/dynamic-visibility-shows-advertisement-on-the-front-end-1.png\" alt=\"dynamic visibility shows the advertisement on the front end\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"title2\">Making the Content Visible in Elementor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p><em>The JetEngine <\/em>plugin is fully compatible with the free version of Elementor.<br><br>The process of using <strong>Dynamic Visibility<\/strong> is almost the same. By the way, you can set visibility conditions to the widget or even the whole section.<br><br>Select the element you want to set conditions for and proceed to the <strong>Advanced<\/strong> tab. Unfold the <strong>Dynamic Visibility<\/strong> section and enable it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/applying-to-the-column-x2-1024x473.png\" alt=\"enabling dynamic visibility\">\n\n\n\n<p>Set the <strong>Visibility condition type<\/strong> to \u201cShow element if condition met.\u201d Below unfold <strong>Conditions <\/strong>and choose \u201cEqual\u201d from the drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/visibility-condition-type.png\" alt=\"visibility condition type and conditions\">\n\n\n\n<p>In the<strong> Field<\/strong>, click on the <strong>Dynamic Tags <\/strong>button. Select <strong>Macros <\/strong>and choose \u201cString to timestamp\u201d<strong> <\/strong>macros in the pop-up window.<br><br>Enter \u201c<em>this Friday<\/em>\u201d to the <strong>String to convert <\/strong>field bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/conditions-for-field.png\" alt=\"condition for field\">\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the <strong>Value<\/strong>. Again hit the <strong>Dynamic Tags <\/strong>button and select <strong>Macros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/value-to-macros.png\" alt=\"macros for value\">\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>Settings <\/strong>pop-up window, choose the \u201cToday\u201d macros from the list. On the next day, the message about the discount will be hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/element-visibile-on-front-end-x2-1024x566.png\" alt=\"element visible on the front end\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"title3\">Displaying the Content on Particular Days in Gutenberg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>The <em>JetEngine<\/em> plugin got updated, and now it allows <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-dynamic-visibility-module-options-overview\/#title12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">applying <strong>Dynamic Visibility<\/strong> to the blocks<\/a> of the WordPress default editor.<br><br>Select a block in Gutenberg. There will be an eye-shaped icon on the toolbar on top of the block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/banner-in-guten-x2-1024x421.png\" alt=\"banner in Gutenberg\">\n\n\n\n<p>Once you click on it, you will see a pop-up window with the<strong> Enable<\/strong> toggle.<br><br>Turn it on, but first, make sure that the <strong>Visibility condition type<\/strong> is set to \u201cShow element if condition met.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/enabling-dynamic-visibility-in-guten.png\" alt=\"enabling dynamic visibility\">\n\n\n\n<p>Then hit the \u201c<strong>Add new item<\/strong>\u201d button and choose \u201cEqual<strong>\u201d <\/strong>in the <strong>Condition <\/strong>drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/condition-for-visibility.png\" alt=\"condition for visibility\">\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the <strong>Field<\/strong> and hit the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-using-the-pre-designed-section-templates-to-display-dynamic-content\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dynamic Tags<\/strong><\/a> button.
