When users book apartments, it would be helpful to have all bookings displayed on the Google Calendar schedule and sent to the user’s email address. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To connect the JetBooking<\/em> plugin to Google Calendar and Gmail, you can use <\/strong>Make automation software (formerly Integromat). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Connect the JetBooking Plugin to Google Calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Set up Make<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Make<\/strong><\/a> is a free platform that allows you to connect apps and automate workflows using a no-code visual builder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign in or sign up to the Make platform. After getting to the dashboard, press the \u201c+ Create scenario\u201d<\/strong> button in the upper right corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a new scenario, choose the \u201cWebhooks<\/a>\u201d module from the dropdown menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then you\u2019ll see the list of triggers and actions. You need to select the \u201cCustom webhook.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set up the booking form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A detailed guide on how to create a booking <\/em>form from scratch can be found in the How to Create a Booking Form<\/strong><\/a> tutorial. Also, you will have the default JetBooking<\/em> form after the JetBooking setup<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to WordPress Dashboard > JetFormBuilder > Forms<\/em><\/strong>, and then click to edit the booking form to connect it with Make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In JetForm > <\/em><\/strong>Post Submit Actions<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, push the \u201c+ New Action<\/strong>\u201d button and select the \u201cCall Webhook<\/a>\u201d action from the pop-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paste the link to the WEBHOOK URL<\/strong> field. Hit the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button and \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Switch back to Make and click the \u201cRedetermine data structure<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the Google Calendar module<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Click the \u201cAdd another module<\/strong>\u201d button and insert the \u201cGoogle Calendar\u201d module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pick the \u201cCreate an Event\u201d <\/strong>option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the \u201cAdd<\/strong>\u201d button near the Connection <\/strong>bar to connect Make to your Gmail account, or select an existing connection from the dropdown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Create an Event <\/strong>dropdown, select the \u201cIn Detail\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Calendar ID<\/strong>, select the calendar to which you want your bookings published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you click the Event Name<\/strong>, a pop-up will open with the booking form fields. Use plain text and field names to customize it, allowing values to be inserted dynamically. For example, we use \u2018post_title\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the booking form, it\u2019s a Hidden Field<\/strong><\/a> with the \u201cCurrent Post Title\u201d FIELD VALUE<\/strong>, which returns the name of the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drag-n-drop the \u2018_check_in_date\u2019 item in the Start Date <\/strong>field and the \u2018_check_out_date\u2019 <\/strong>item in the End Date <\/strong>field accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, you can enable the Advanced settings<\/strong> toggle and fill in the Description<\/strong> field with the booking details, including additional services, the number of guests, and the total price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After adjusting all the settings, press the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button at the end of the pop-up. Also, press the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d icon in the bottom toolbar to save the scenario settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, go to the Scenarios<\/strong> tab and switch the toggle on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Connect Gmail to JetBooking and Google Calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click on the \u201cwrench<\/strong>\u201d icon between the Webhook<\/strong> and Google Calendar<\/strong> modules and press the \u201c+ Add a router\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add a new module and select \u201cGmail\u201d from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, select the \u201cSend an Email\u201d action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the To<\/strong> section, specify the emails to which the booking details should be sent. For example, you can set the email form field and the email of the site admin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, you can customize the Subject<\/strong> and Content<\/strong> fields using the form field names and plain text. After that, press the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button and save the scenario settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
