With the JetThemeCore 2.0 plugin version<\/strong>, you can create page templates in the Crocoblock > Theme Builder <\/em><\/strong>Dashboard tab, add header, body, and footer to them, and set the conditions<\/a><\/strong>, <\/strong>which can also be applied to the dedicated template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create the templates for certain requests, you can set the conditions <\/strong>in two ways. Also, we will describe how to set the condition with the JetSearch<\/strong> and JetSmartFilters <\/strong>plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create a New Page Template with the URL Parameter Condition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create a new page template, navigate to Crocoblock > Theme Builder <\/em><\/strong>and hit the \u201cCreate new page template\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"crocoblock\n\n\n\n

Click on the \u201cAdd Condition\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"add\n\n\n\n

Select the \u201cInclude\u201d (or \u201cExclude\u201d if you want to hide the template on some devices), \u201cAdvanced,\u201d \u201cURL Parameter\u201d options. In the last field, enter a query string (for example, s=wonderful, or qwerty=123). We will further write about query strings in more detail when sharing the use case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Then, push the \u201cSave\u201d<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the newly created Page Template <\/strong>window, click on one of the buttons (\u201cAdd header,\u201d \u201cAdd body,\u201d<\/strong> or \u201cAdd footer\u201d<\/strong>) to add a template to the page with the \u201cURL Parameter\u201d condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"page\n\n\n\n

Hit the \u201cCreate template\u201d <\/strong>button or add the previously created template to the page by pressing \u201cAdd from<\/strong> library<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"create\n\n\n\n

You can create a new template in the Elementor editor or WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg). For that, select the needed Template content type. <\/strong>Then, enter the Template name <\/strong>and press the \u201cCreate\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"create\n\n\n\n

After the template creation, click on the \u201cGo to editor\u201d <\/strong>button to proceed to the Elementor or Gutenberg <\/strong>editor. If you press the \u201cEdit later<\/strong>\u201d button, you will return to the Theme Builder <\/strong>page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"go\n\n\n\n

You can add the template from the library by clicking on the \u201cAdd from library\u201d <\/strong>button. All newly created or editing-ready templates will be kept here even if you remove them from the Page Template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"template\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to Add the URL Parameter Condition to the Dedicated Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To add the URL Parameter condition to the existing template, proceed to Crocoblock > Theme Templates <\/em><\/strong>and hit the \u201cEdit Condition\u201d<\/strong> button in the needed template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"edit\n\n\n\n

How to Use the URL Parameter Condition with the JetSearch Plugin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can place the Ajax Search<\/strong><\/a> widget anywhere on the website, but the most suitable spot is in the header.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to Crocoblock > Theme Templates <\/em><\/strong>and click on the \u201cAdd New\u201d <\/strong>button to create a new header or edit the existing one. Keep in mind that the header must be created in the Elementor editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Elementor editor, drag-n-drop the Ajax Search <\/strong>widget to the header and style and customize it to your needs. Then, hit the \u201cPublish\u201d<\/strong> or \u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"ajax\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s create the Page Template <\/strong>for the \u201cwonderful\u201d request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve moved to Crocoblock > Theme Builder <\/em><\/strong>and pushed the \u201cCreate new page template\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the page template visibility conditions window, we\u2019ve selected the \u201cInclude,\u201d \u201cAdvanced,\u201d \u201cURL Parameter\u201d options. In the last field, we\u2019ve entered a query string \u201cs=wonderful,\u201d then hit the \u201cSave\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"advanced\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve decided to add the header and footer from the library and created the body from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"header\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve pressed the \u201cAdd body\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cCreate template\u201d<\/strong> buttons. Then, we\u2019ve selected the \u201cElementor\u201d Template content type<\/strong>, entered the Template name<\/strong>, and pushed the \u201cCreate\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"body\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve ticked the \u201cGo to editor\u201d <\/strong>button and proceeded to the Elementor editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can add any content to the template. We\u2019ve chosen to add the JetEngine <\/strong>Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a> widget with tours here. Then, we\u2019ve hit the \u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"jetengine\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve navigated to the front end with the Ajax Search <\/strong>widget and entered the \u201cwonderful\u201d request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"request\"\n\n\n\n

As you can see, the page template is applied to the request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"page\n\n\n\n

In the search string, you can see the URL parameter that we\u2019ve entered into the condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"URL\n\n\n\n

If we had entered another request, for instance, \u201cwild nature,\u201d the default templates would be applied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"default\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to Use the URL Parameter Condition with the JetSmartFilters Plugin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Be aware that the JetSmartFilters<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>plugin works only with Elementor Pro<\/strong>, JetEngine<\/strong>, and JetWooBuilder<\/strong> <\/em>plugins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve proceeded to the Smart Filters <\/strong>tab on the WordPress Dashboard and hit the \u201cAdd New\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Filter Settings <\/strong>tab, we\u2019ve selected the \u201cSearch\u201d Filter Type <\/strong>and Search by <\/strong>\u201cDefault WordPress search.\u201d Then, we\u2019ve pushed the \u201cPublished\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"search\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind that the filter better be placed on the same page or template with the posts that will be filtered.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On the page edited in the Gutenberg editor, we\u2019ve placed the Search <\/strong>filter block and the Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a> with posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the General <\/strong>settings, we\u2019ve selected the created filter, the \u201cListing grid\u201d option and the \u201cPage reload\u201d Apply type.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
