With the JetEngine<\/em> and JetThemeCore<\/em> plugins, you can create an Archive Page template for the custom taxonomy and customize and style posts dedicated to each term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we will use \u201cTours\u201d Custom Post Type (CPT) <\/strong>and \u201cTravel by\u201d custom taxonomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Create an Archive Page Template in the Elementor Editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Creating a Listing template for an Archive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first step is to create a Listing template<\/strong><\/a> for posts that will be displayed on the Taxonomy Archive page. Go to WordPress Dashboard ><\/em><\/strong> JetEngine > Listings\/Components<\/em><\/strong> and click the \u201cAdd New Listing Item\u201d<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Setup Listing Item<\/strong> pop-up window, pick the \u201cPosts\u201d option as the Listing source<\/strong>, set the required CPT<\/strong> in the From post type<\/strong> field (\u201cTours\u201d in our case), enter the Listing item name<\/strong> (\u201cListing Tours\u201d in our case), and choose the Listing view<\/strong> (for this case, we choose \u201cElementor\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, click the \u201cCreate Listing Item<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Elementor editor,\u00a0 we set the content with the Dynamic<\/strong> Widgets<\/strong><\/a>. For more details, you can check the How to Create a Listing Template for Post Types in Elementor<\/strong><\/a> tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, click the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button and go back to the WordPress Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating an Archive Page template for the taxonomy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Go to the WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > Theme Builder <\/em><\/strong>tab and hit the \u201cCreate new page template<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Create page template<\/strong> pop-up, click the \u201c+ Add Condition<\/strong>\u201d button, select the \u201cInclude,\u201d \u201cArchive,\u201d and \u201cCPT Taxonomy\u201d conditions, and in the last drop-down menu, choose the needed taxonomy (\u201cTravel by\u201d in our case)\u201d. Then, hit the \u201cCreate<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the newly created page template, push the \u201c+ Add body\u201d <\/strong>and \u201cCreate template\u201d <\/strong>buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Create a template <\/strong>pop-up, select the Template content type<\/strong> (\u201cElementor\u201d in our case), enter the Template name<\/strong>, and press the \u201cCreate<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the next pop-up, push the \u201cGo to editor<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a> widget on the archive template and select the needed Listing<\/strong> from the drop-down menu. Customize other settings as you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, enable the Use as Archive Template<\/strong> toggle. This option displays only those posts on the Taxonomy Archive page that belong to this taxonomy. Posts will be shown as intended on the front end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hit the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button to save the template settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating a Listing template for an Archive page<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first step is to create a Listing template for posts that will be displayed on the Taxonomy Archive page. Go to WordPress Dashboard ><\/em><\/strong> JetEngine > Listings\/Components<\/em><\/strong> and click the \u201cAdd New Listing Item\u201d<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating an Archive page for the Taxonomy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > Theme Builder <\/em><\/strong>tab and hit the \u201cCreate new page template<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
