This widget pulls the data from the specified source and displays it using the set style and content settings. Here are the types of meta fields that the Dynamic Field widget can display:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Text;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Datetime;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Textarea;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WYSIWYG;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switcher;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Checkbox;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Iconpicker;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gallery;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radio;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeater;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Colorpicker;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Posts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HTML;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Map.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And now let&#8217;s go through the widget&#8217;s features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"dynamic-field-content-section-settings\"><strong>Dynamic Field Content Section Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynamic-field-widget-1.png\" alt=\"dynamic field widget\">\n\n\n\n<p>Drag and drop the <strong>Dynamic Field<\/strong> widget on the page and let\u2019s look through the content settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Source<\/strong>. In the dropdown, you can see a list of available sources from where the data will be pulled out:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Post\/Term\/User\/Object Data<\/strong>. The content will be pulled from the default meta fields of the post, term, user, or object. The field can be specified in the <strong>Object Field<\/strong> select; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Meta Data<\/strong>. This option will take the content from one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/how-to-create-a-custom-meta-field-with-jetengine-custom-meta-field-types-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>meta fields<\/strong><\/a> created by you using the JetEngine plugin\u2019s functionality. You can select a concrete field in the <strong>Meta Field<\/strong> drop-down menu or define it by typing in the <strong>Custom meta field\/repeater key<\/strong>; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Query Variable<\/strong>. It can be used to display data on the Search Results page. For that, specify the <strong>Variable Name<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cs\u201d;\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Options<\/strong>. This<strong> <\/strong>variant allows you to choose meta fields created for the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-options-page-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Options Page<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Relation Hierarchy<\/strong>. The data will be taken from the fields of the posts related to the current one. You can choose what type of post to <strong>Get <\/strong>and select the type from the <strong>From Post Type<\/strong> drop-down list;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Relation Meta Data<\/strong>. This option takes the data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-wordpress-relations-feature-settings-overview\/#metafields\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>meta fields created for relations<\/strong><\/a>. If you want to add an icon to the field, here you can choose it from the library or download it as an SVG file;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/field-icon-1-1.png\" alt=\"field icon\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>HTML Tag<\/strong>. This drop-down menu allows you to choose the HTML tags in which the field will be wrapped. <strong>DIV<\/strong> is a tag that is used to define containers, <strong>H1-H6<\/strong> turns the field into a headline, <strong>P<\/strong> defines the field as a paragraph, and <strong>SPAN<\/strong> marks it as an inline part of the document;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/html-tag-1.png\" alt=\"HTML tag\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hide if value is empty<\/strong>. Turn this option on if you want to hide the field if it\u2019s not filled;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fallback<\/strong>. If you don\u2019t want to hide the field if it\u2019s empty, in this text area, you can define what text to show to the user instead;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynamic-field-callback-2.png\" alt=\"dynamic field callback\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Filter field output<\/strong>. This one needs extra attention, so we\u2019ll describe it lower;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Customize field output<\/strong>. Turn this toggle on to add the text before and after the value pulled from the meta field; <strong>%s<\/strong> stands for the value that is pulled; just add some content before and after it to add some text before and after the value;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"note-banner d-flex border-bold border-jetsmartfilters rounded overflow-hidden p-20\"><div class=\"mr-12\"><svg width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M1 21H23L12 2L1 21ZM13 18H11V16H13V18ZM13 14H11V10H13V14Z\" fill=\"#FA5450\"\/><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"d-flex flex-column\"><div class=\"text-900 mb-12\">Warning<\/div><p class=\"m-0\">Use <strong>%1$s<\/strong> instead of <strong>%s<\/strong> to insert the same value multiple times in <strong>Field format<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/customize-field-output-2.png\" alt=\"customize field output\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Context<\/strong>. This field helps specify the field\u2019s source and collaborates with the <strong>Source <\/strong>option. According to your settings, there can be such options:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Default Object<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>Shows data for the current page or <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-what-is-a-listing-template\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>listing template<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current User (global)<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>Shows data according to the user for whom the page was created;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current User (for current scope)<\/strong>. Shows data according to the user, which is currently proceeding. For example, there is a listing of users that shows the posts written by the user after clicking on them. In this case, if you choose the <strong>Current User (for current scope)<\/strong> context, it will display the meta field value of the user you have just clicked on, not the logged-in user;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Queried User<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>Shows data for the currently logged-in user or the user mentioned in the URL (the user ID is in the URL);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current Post Author<\/strong>. It will show the meta field value of the user who is the author of the currently opened post;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Default WordPress Object (for current page)<\/strong>. It always shows the data of a current global object for the current page defined by WordPress. For instance, on a single page\/single post, it will always be the current post, even if you go to the listing added to this page;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current CCT item author<\/strong>. Shows the data in the meta field of the user who is the author of the currently opened CCT item. It can be used in the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-what-is-a-listing-template\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Listing Template<\/strong><\/a> for CCT to show the information about the CCT item author. Enabling the <strong>Filter field output<\/strong> option allows you to display different data types. Dynamic Field widget can be used to show the data from, for example, \u0421heckbox meta field. To display it correctly, you need to use this filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/filter-field-output-2.png\" alt=\"filter field output\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"showcase-date-time-and-datetime-meta-fields-value-as-preferred\"><strong>Showcase Date, Time, and Datetime meta fields value as preferred<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Use the <strong>Format date<\/strong> callback to show the date pulled from the database using <strong>Date<\/strong>, <strong>Time<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>or <strong>Datetime<\/strong> meta fields. In the <strong>Format <\/strong>field, you can set the date\u2019s format;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Format date (localized)<\/strong> is the same as the previous one but shows the date that is already localized to the language of the website;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/format-date-callback-2.png\" alt=\"format date callback\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Human readable time difference<\/strong>. This callback works with the <strong>Date<\/strong> and <strong>Datetime <\/strong>meta fields. It shows the difference between the date you put into the meta field and the current date. The difference is displayed in days. In the <strong>Additional meta key <\/strong>field, you can enter another meta field name, and this callback will show the difference between dates in these two meta fields. For instance, you can display the difference between the start and end date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/human-redable-time-difference-2.png\" alt=\"human readable time difference\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"display-post-and-term-titles-links-and-urls\"><strong><strong style=\"color: revert; font-size: revert;\">Display post and term titles, links, and URLs<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get post\/page title<\/strong>. If you select the \u201cPost ID\u201d option in <strong>Object Field<\/strong>, this callback will display the title of the post or page;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-post-or-page-title-2.png\" alt=\"get post\/page title\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get post\/page URL.<\/strong> If you choose one of the ID options in the <strong>Object Field<\/strong> drop-down menu, this callback will display the post\u2019s URL;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-post-or-page-url-2.png\" alt=\"get post\/page URL\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get post\/page link.<\/strong> This callback will also show the post URL but in the form of a title with a link;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-post-or-page-link-2.png\" alt=\"get post\/page link\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get post\/page thumbnail.<\/strong>&nbsp; If you select the \u201cPost ID\u201d option in <strong>Object Field<\/strong>, this callback will display the featured image of the post or page. You can also set the <strong>Image size <\/strong>(Full, Thumbnail, Medium, etc.). If you enable the <strong>Add permalink <\/strong>toggle, you can proceed to the post or page by clicking the image;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-post-or-page-thumbnail-2.png\" alt=\"get post\/page thumbnail\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get term name. <\/strong>&nbsp;If you select the \u201cTerm ID\u201d option in <strong>Object Field<\/strong>, this callback will display the title of the term;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-term-name-callback-2.png\" alt=\"get term name callback\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get term URL. <\/strong>If you select the \u201cTerm ID\u201d option in Object Field, this callback will display the term URL;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-term-url-2.png\" alt=\"get term URL\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get term link<\/strong>. This option can be used only if you select the term or taxonomy ID in the <strong>Object Field<\/strong> drop-down menu. In this case, it will display the term name with the link;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-term-link-2.png\" alt=\"get term link\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Add URL scheme<\/strong>. If you need to use a URL scheme, e.g., for email sending, you can use this callback and <strong>Select URL scheme<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/add-url-scheme-2.png\" alt=\"add URL scheme\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Embed URL<\/strong>. Use this callback if you have a meta field containing a URL and want to embed it on the page. For example, it will work if you want to embed a video from YouTube. If you want to set different container heights for the displayed video, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-how-to-display-a-video-in-the-listing-dynamically\/#title2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>show the video using the HTML code<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/embed-url-2.png\" alt=\"embed URL\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Make clickable<\/strong>. If you have a field with a URL, it will normally be shown as plain text. And this callback will make it a clickable link.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/make-clickable-callback-2.png\" alt=\"make clickable\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"format-data-from-the-number-meta-field\"><strong>Format data from the Number meta field<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Format number<\/strong>. If you want to display the data from the <strong>Number<\/strong> meta field, you can set its format using this callback. You can choose how the <strong>Decimal point<\/strong> and <strong>Thousands separator<\/strong> will look like and set how many numbers will be shown after the decimal point;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/format-number-callback-2.png\" alt=\"format number callback\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Zeroise (add leading zeroes)<\/strong>. When this callback is enabled, it adds zeroes before the value of the <strong>Number<\/strong> meta field. In the <strong>Threshold <\/strong>field, you can enter the digit number that must not have added zeros. For example, I set the \u201c5\u201d <strong>Threshold<\/strong>, so if the number is two digits, three zeros will be added to it, and if the number is four digits, only one zero will be added;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/zeroise-callback-2.png\" alt=\"zeroise callback\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Proportional<\/strong>. This callback works with the <strong>Number <\/strong>field type and calculates the proportion of the field value. In the <strong>Divisor <\/strong>field, you can enter the number by which the field value will be divided; in the <strong>Multiplier<\/strong>, enter the number by which the field value will be multiplied, and the callback will show the final result. You can also identify in the <strong>Result precision<\/strong> field how many decimals can be shown in the result after the separator. If you hit the \u201c<strong>Dynamic Tags\u201d <\/strong>button near the <strong>Divisor <\/strong>or <strong>Multiplier <\/strong>fields, you can select the <strong>JetEngine Custom Field <\/strong>with the number value and use it for the proportional calculation;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/proportional-callback-2.png\" alt=\"proportional callback\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Calculated field. <\/strong>Perform arithmetic operations with the current field value. To get this callback, proceed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/freemium\/tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Free DevTools Kit<\/strong><\/a> page, download the <em>Calculated callback <\/em>add-on and upload it as a plugin to your WordPress website. To get this callback, proceed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/freemium\/tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Free DevTools Kit<\/strong><\/a> page, download the <em>Phone Number Format <\/em>add-on and upload it as a plugin to your WordPress website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/phone-number-format-2.png\" alt=\"phone number format\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adjust-values-output-from-the-select-radio-and-checkbox-meta-fields\"><strong>Adjust values output from the Select, Radio, and Checkbox meta fields<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multiple select field values<\/strong>. This one is used for the <strong>Select<\/strong> field type and allows you to showcase several selected options. Don\u2019t forget to specify the <strong>Delimiter <\/strong>afterward. To be able to select several options in the <strong>Select<\/strong> meta field, proceed to <strong><em>JetEngine &gt; Post Types<\/em><\/strong>, click to edit the needed one, and enable the <strong>Multiple <\/strong>toggle for the <strong>Select <\/strong>field;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/multiple-select-field-values-2.png\" alt=\"multiple select field values\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get child element from object\/array<\/strong>. This callback works with the <strong>Checkbox <\/strong>and <strong>Select <\/strong>meta fields. It shows the value of the option chosen in the checkbox of select. For example, if you tick the \u201c2\u201d option of the checkbox and have chosen the \u201c2\u201d option for the callback \u2013 it will display the \u201ctrue\u201d value;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/get-child-element-from-object-or-array-2.png\" alt=\"get child element from object\/array\">\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Get labels by glossary data<\/strong>.
