The JetBooking<\/em><\/a> <\/em>WordPress plugin enables setting the booking functionality on the website. With the Days<\/strong> Rules <\/strong>and Days Off <\/strong>features, you can adjust weekdays when customers cannot book properties or services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the example of the \u201cTour\u201d Custom Post Type<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>on our website, we will show how to set the days off and holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set Days Off<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the WordPress Dashboard ><\/em><\/strong> Bookings > Settings > Schedule <\/em><\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Weekday Booking Rules <\/strong>column allows setting the days of the week unavailable for booking. For example, if your firm is closed on Mondays, you should enable one of the toggles near the \u201cMonday\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are three toggle options next to each day: \u201cDisable,\u201d \u201cCheck In,\u201d and \u201cCheck Out.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cDisable\u201d toggle turns off a specific day (both for check-in and check-out), \u201cCheck In\u201d activates only check-in functionality on a particular day, and \u201cCheck Out\u201d enables only check-out correspondingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can set several days of the week as disabled; for example, we pick Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Days Off <\/strong>column allows setting the dedicated days as days off. For example, you can select the national holiday dates (e.g., New Year, Christmas, Easter, etc.) as unavailable for booking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For that, press the \u201c+ Add Days\u201d <\/strong>button, enter the Days Label <\/strong>(e.g., the name of the holiday), set only the Start Date <\/strong>if you want to pick only one day as the day off, and add the End Date <\/strong>to choose two or more days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repeat the procedure described earlier to set as many days off as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the result on the front end. Open the Single Post Page with the booking form and find the Check In\/Check Out <\/strong>field (the name of the field is the one you have added beforehand in the form).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on it to open the calendar. Now, Saturdays and Sundays are grey because we set them to be days off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because we set New Year’s Day to be a day off, it is also grey in the calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjust Custom Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can also set the custom schedule for a separate property or service. For that, click to edit the post from the post type that you have connected during the booking setup<\/a> (\u201cArgentina Autumn\u201d post from the \u201cTour\u201d post type in our case) and go to the Custom Schedule <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enable the Use Custom Schedule <\/strong>toggle and set the Weekday Booking Rules<\/strong> and Days Off <\/strong>as in the previous part of the article. When you finish customizing, hit the \u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the booking form on the front end and click to choose the date in the Check In\/Check Out<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to our settings, Mondays and the 23rd of November are unavailable in the form calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The form for this post shows only custom settings for the \u201cArgentina Autumn.\u201d Saturdays and Sundays we have disabled in the Schedule <\/strong>settings are available here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
