Find out several ways of querying the user\u2019s comments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"build-query\">Build a Query<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Head to the <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Query Builder <\/em><\/strong>and press the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/jetengine-add-new-query-full.png\" alt=\"jetengine add new query\">\n\n\n\n<p>Once the editing page is open, look at the General Settings section. Complete the <strong>Name <\/strong>field, select the \u201cComments Query\u201d <strong>Query Type<\/strong>, and leave the <strong>Query ID <\/strong>field blank as it is not required in the described case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/comments-query-general-settings-full.png\" alt=\"comments query general settings\">\n\n\n\n<p>Scroll down to the Comments Query section and open the <strong>Author <\/strong>tab. Find the <strong>Author In <\/strong>field and press the<strong> <\/strong>\u201c<strong>Dynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button next to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose the \u201cCurrent ID\u201d option from the appeared list.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/comments-query-author-tab-settings-full.png\" alt=\"comments query author tab settings\">\n\n\n\n<p>The next tab we open is the <strong>Misc <\/strong>one. Here we type the \u201capprove\u201d value in the <strong>Status <\/strong>field to display only the approved comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/comments-query-misc-tab-settings-full.png\" alt=\"comments query misc tab settings\">\n\n\n\n<p>Now you can push the \u201c<strong>Add Query<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"create-listing\">Create a Listing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Open the <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Listings <\/em><\/strong>directory. Press the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick the \u201cQuery Builder\u201d <strong>Listing source <\/strong>and find the needed <strong>Query <\/strong>from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, you can set the <strong>Listing item name <\/strong>and select the desired <strong>Listing view<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/query-builder-listing-item-popup-full.png\" alt=\"query builder listing item popup\">\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, we added a section with two columns. In the first column, we put the <strong>Dynamic Field <\/strong>widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We showed the posting date of the comment by selecting the \u201cPost\/Term\/User\/Object Data\u201d <strong>Source <\/strong>and \u201cDate\u201d <strong>Object Field <\/strong>(\u201cDate\u201d from the Comment part of the list) in the <strong>Content<\/strong> tab of the widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/dynamic-field-date-object-field-full.png\" alt=\"dynamic field date object field\">\n\n\n\n<p>Activate the <strong>Filter field output <\/strong>and select the \u201cFormat date\u201d <strong>Callback<\/strong>; then, you can set the desired <strong>Format<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/dynamic-field-format-date-callback-full.png\" alt=\"dynamic field format date callback\">\n\n\n\n<p>Set the following <strong>Dynamic Field<\/strong> to have the \u201cPost\/Term\/User\/Object Data\u201d <strong>Source <\/strong>and \u201cPost ID\u201d (under the Comment part of the list) <strong>Object Field<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activate the <strong>Filter field output <\/strong>toggle for this widget and set the \u201cGet post\/page link\u201d <strong>Callback<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/dynamic-field-post-id-object-field-full.png\" alt=\"dynamic field post id object field\">\n\n\n\n<p>Add one more <strong>Dynamic Field <\/strong>to the second column. However, mind that <strong>Dynamic Field<\/strong> values will not be visible in the editor; you will see all the changes on the front end.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/listing-with-dynamic-fields-in-gutenberg-full.png\" alt=\"listing with dynamic fields in gutenberg\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"add-listing-to-account-page\">Add Listing to Account Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>As you remember, we have already set up the Profile Builder and created the user\u2019s account page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s create a separate template for the comments. Navigate to <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; Elementor &gt; Saved Templates<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button to create a new template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/elementor-saved-templates-full.png\" alt=\"elementor saved templates\">\n\n\n\n<p>Now we select the \u201cSection\u201d template type, complete the name, and push the \u201c<strong>Create Template<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/elementor-new-template-popup-full.png\" alt=\"elementor new template popup\">\n\n\n\n<p>Once you open the template, add the <strong>Listing Grid <\/strong>widget. Pick the newly built <strong>Listing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/listing-grid-in-the-comments-elementor-template-full.png\" alt=\"listing grid in the comments elementor template\">\n\n\n\n<p>Move to the <strong>Custom Query<\/strong> tab and enable the <strong>Use Custom Query <\/strong>switcher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick the <strong>Custom Query <\/strong>you have created beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click the \u201c<strong>Publish\/Update<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/listing-grid-in-the-comments-elementor-template-full-1.png\" alt=\"listing grid custom query in the comments elementor template\">\n\n\n\n<p>Head to <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Profile Builder<\/em><\/strong> and open the <strong>Account Page<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hit the \u201c<strong>Add New Subpage<\/strong>\u201d button to add a new section to the account page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assign a <strong>Title <\/strong>to the subpage and complete its <strong>Slug<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"note-banner d-flex border-bold border-jetsmartfilters rounded overflow-hidden p-20\"><div class=\"mr-12\"><svg width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M1 21H23L12 2L1 21ZM13 18H11V16H13V18ZM13 14H11V10H13V14Z\" fill=\"#FA5450\"\/><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"d-flex flex-column\"><div class=\"text-900 mb-12\">Warning<\/div><p class=\"m-0\">The slug should contain only lowercase Latin characters with no spaces. Use \u201c-\u201d and \u201c_\u201d to separate words.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Then select the <strong>Template <\/strong>you created earlier and that\u2019s it. Let\u2019s check them out, and you can pick the one you like the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"display-only-parent-comments\">Display only parent comments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This time we will show only parent comments. Return to <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Query Builder<\/em><\/strong> and open the built query.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to the <strong>Include\/Exclude<\/strong> tab and complete the <strong>Parent <\/strong>field with the \u201c0\u201d value.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Push the \u201c<strong>Update Query<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/empty-parent-field-in-the-include-exclude-tab-full.png\" alt=\"empty parent field in the include exclude tab\">\n\n\n\n<p>Now the result will look like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/my-comments-on-the-account-page-full.png\" alt=\"my comments on the account page\">\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"show-comment-status\">Show comment status<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Query Builder <\/em><\/strong>and open the created query.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Misc tab, find the <strong>Status <\/strong>field. Leave it empty and delete the \u201capprove\u201d value if you have added it before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Click on the \u201c<strong>Update Query<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/empty-status-field-in-the-misc-tab-full.png\" alt=\"empty status field in the misc tab\">\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; Elementor &gt; Saved Templates <\/em><\/strong>and open the template you have created before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We add the <strong>Heading <\/strong>widget to the first column and type the \u201cStatus\u201d value as the <strong>Title<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we add a <strong>Divider <\/strong>widget to style the template look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/heading-in-the-comments-query-full.png\" alt=\"heading in the comments query\">\n\n\n\n<p>In the second column, we add one more <strong>Dynamic Field <\/strong>widget. We type \u201cApproved\u201d and \u201cUnapproved\u201d items in the described case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And we add a <strong>Divider <\/strong>widget here as well. Mind that it is optional; you can style the template as you wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Press the \u201c<strong>Update<\/strong>\u201d button once ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\"
