We will take a look at all of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin, we proceed to <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; JetEngine &gt; Post Types<\/em><\/strong>, open a post type and scroll down to the <strong>Meta Fields <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, press the \u201c<strong>New Meta Field<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"select-field\">Select Field<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Complete the fields needed for the customization at the beginning: fill in the <strong>Label <\/strong>and <strong>Name\/ID <\/strong>fields.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"note-banner d-flex border-bold border-jetsmartfilters rounded overflow-hidden p-20\"><div class=\"mr-12\"><svg width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M1 21H23L12 2L1 21ZM13 18H11V16H13V18ZM13 14H11V10H13V14Z\" fill=\"#FA5450\"\/><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"d-flex flex-column\"><div class=\"text-900 mb-12\">Warning<\/div><p class=\"m-0\">The <strong>Name\/ID<\/strong> field should be completed with a value containing only Latin letters, numbers, and \u201c-\u201d or \u201c_\u201d characters.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pick the \u201cField\u201d <strong>Object type <\/strong>and \u201cSelect\u201d <strong>Field type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Activate the following <strong>Get options from the glossary <\/strong>toggle. It allows you to use Glossary as the data source for the created field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/select-meta-field-in-post-type-full.png\" alt=\"select meta field in post type\">\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>Glossary <\/strong>field, choose the needed item to get the values from. For instance, we use the \u201cDoctor\u2019s Branch\u201d glossary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also make the adjustments in the following fields. Press the \u201c<strong>Update Post Type<\/strong>\u201d button and proceed to the field in the post.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/the-second-part-of-select-meta-field-in-post-type-full.png\" alt=\"the second part of select meta field in post type\">\n\n\n\n<p>On WordPress Dashboard, open the Custom Post Type to which you added a meta field with <strong>Glossary <\/strong>data source. Add a new post or open the already built one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to the <strong>Settings <\/strong>tab and find the newly created meta field.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this Select field, pick one needed option and press the \u201c<strong>Publish\/Update<\/strong>\u201d button at the top right corner of the page to save the changes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/select-field-in-the-post-full.png\" alt=\"select field in the post\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"checkbox-field\">Checkbox Field<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Repeat the starting steps as described for building the Select field. In the <strong>Field type<\/strong>, pick \u201cCheckbox\u201d to create a field where several options for selecting are allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, mind switching on the <strong>Get options from the glossary <\/strong>toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/checkbox-meta-field-in-post-type-full.png\" alt=\"checkbox meta field in post type\">\n\n\n\n<p>After activating the switcher, pick the desired <strong>Glossary <\/strong>and work on the rest of the fields if customization is needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to press the \u201c<strong>Update Post Type<\/strong>\u201d button to save the created meta field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/the-second-part-of-checkbox-meta-field-in-post-type-full.png\" alt=\"the second part of checkbox meta field in post type\">\n\n\n\n<p>Head to the post of the edited post type to find the created meta field. attaching options to the post, you can always show them to the website users on the front end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this purpose, in the described case, we have used <em>JetThemeCore <\/em>and its Single page functionality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Single page, the meta field can be displayed with the help of the dynamic widgets available in the <em>JetEngine <\/em>plugin or with the <em>JetElements\u2019 <\/em><strong>Headline <\/strong>widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After implementing the changes, press the \u201c<strong>Publish\/Update<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img
