Besides <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/plugins\/jetengine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>JetEngine<\/em><\/a>, it can be <a href=\"https:\/\/elementor.com\/pro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><em>Elementor Pro<\/em><\/a> (e.g., epro-portfolio), <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/plugins\/jetwoobuilder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>JetWooBuilder<\/em><\/a> (e.g., jet-woo-products-grid),<em> <\/em>or <a href=\"https:\/\/woocommerce.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><em>WooCommerce<\/em><\/a> (e.g., woocommerce-shortcode);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tax \u2013 shows that the filter uses taxonomy as the data source. It changes depending on the option you selected in the <strong>Data Source <\/strong>when creating the filter;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>vacancy-type:14 \u2013 \u201cvacancy-type\u201d is the category slug, and \u201c14\u201d is the category ID.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"note-banner d-flex border-bold border-jetsmartfilters rounded overflow-hidden p-20\"><div class=\"mr-12\"><svg width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M1 21H23L12 2L1 21ZM13 18H11V16H13V18ZM13 14H11V10H13V14Z\" fill=\"#FA5450\"\/><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"d-flex flex-column\"><div class=\"text-900 mb-12\">Warning<\/div><p class=\"m-0\">The main aliases purpose is to change the jsf and part that indicates the filter provider (e.g., jet-engine). You can change such parts as category slugs, as it is shown further, but be careful.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/filtered-URL-structure-2-1024x307.png\" alt=\"filtered URL structure\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-url-aliases-work\"><strong>How URL Aliases Work<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>Proceed to the <strong><em>JetSmartFilters &gt; Settings <\/em><\/strong>tab on the WordPress Dashboard, open the <strong>URL Structure Settings <\/strong>tab, and turn the <strong>Use URL Aliases <\/strong>toggle on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/jetsmartfilters-URL-structure-settings-2-1024x630.png\" alt=\"jetsmartfilters URL structure settings\">\n\n\n\n<p>The enabled toggle adds a repeater with two fields inside: the <strong>Needle <\/strong>(first field), where you can enter a value from a URL string that you want to replace, and the <strong>Replacement <\/strong>(second field), where you can enter a value that replaces it in the URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out what you can enter into the <strong>Needle <\/strong>field, proceed to the front-end page with a filter that has the \u201cPage reload\u201d or \u201cMixed\u201d <strong>Apply type <\/strong>and apply the filter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/filters-on-the-frontend-2-1024x588.png\" alt=\"filters on the front end\">\n\n\n\n<p>After the page reloaded, I copied the \/jsf\/jet-engine\/ part to replace it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/filtered-URL-2-1024x623.png\" alt=\"filtered URL\">\n\n\n\n<p>Place the copied part into the <strong>Needle <\/strong>field, and enter the value which you want to replace it with into the <strong>Replacement <\/strong>field. To save changes, press the <strong>Enter<\/strong> key or remove focus from the input field and wait until the <strong>Settings have been saved <\/strong>pop-up appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/needle-and-replacement-2-1024x630.png\" alt=\"needle and replacement\">\n\n\n\n<p>If you enable the <strong>See how the aliases will look <\/strong>toggle, you can see how changes occur in the URL during direct and reverse transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/see-how-the-aliases-will-work-2-1024x367.png\" srcset=\"see how the aliases will work\" alt=\"see how the aliases will work\">\n\n\n\n<p>Return to the front end, reload the page, and apply the filter again. Check uniqueness of keys<\/strong> error, make sure the next <strong>Needle <\/strong>fields don\u2019t contain parts from the <strong>Replacement<\/strong> fields. For example, you should write \/jet-engine\/ in <strong>Needle <\/strong>and \/j-filter\/ in <strong>Replacement<\/strong> fields instead of dividing the alias into two parts, as in the screenshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/check-unoqueness-of-keys-1.png\" alt=\"\u0441heck uniqueness of keys error\">\n\n\n\n<p>Also, we recommend entering the filtered URL without aliases copied from the front end in the preview line; it helps to identify such errors in aliases for your filters more effectively. To change it, hit the <strong>pencil<\/strong> icon, and to save the URL preview, click the <strong>tick <\/strong>icon. To decline changes, hit the <strong>rollback <\/strong>icon. Then, you can copy some URL parts from this line and replace them with aliases using the <strong>Needle <\/strong>and <strong>Replacement<\/strong> fields.
