Create Menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First of all, a menu needs to be created. It can be done in the WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"menus\n\n\n\n

You can create a new menu by clicking a relevant link in the Edit Menus<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"create\n\n\n\n

Open the Custom Link <\/strong>tab. In the URL <\/strong>field, use a custom link with a hashtag instead of any actual link because this menu item does not need to redirect but only opens a mega menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cAdd to Menu<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"hashtag\n\n\n\n

At this point, you can click on \u201cSave Menu<\/strong>\u201d or save it after creating and adding a mega Menu item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"save\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Create Mega Menu Item<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once the menu itself is created, you can add a Mega Menu item to the menu item with a custom link. To do so, press the \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d button to trigger a popup with the Mega Menu settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"settings\n\n\n\n

Then enable the Use Mega content <\/strong>toggle to ensure the mega content is shown on the front end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"use\n\n\n\n

After it, you can add the needed content by pressing the \u201cEdit Mega content<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"edit\n\n\n\n

To save the content of the Mega Menu item, push \u201cSave<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"save\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Add Icon to Mega Menu Item<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is time to add the icon representing the Menu item on the front end. It can be done in the SVG Icon <\/strong>field of the Item Icon <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"svg\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Output Menu Using Mega Menu Widget<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is time to add the built menu to a template. For example, it can be a Header<\/a> template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drag and drop the Mega Menu<\/strong><\/a> widget to the template’s content area, and select a Menu <\/strong>you have just created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"menu\n\n\n\n

You may also need to add transparency to the default menu title in the Style<\/strong> tab. Open the Main Menu <\/strong>tab, and find the States <\/strong>section. Set the Title Color <\/strong>as transparent, so only an icon is displayed on the front end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure to add the same style to the title in Hover <\/strong>and Active <\/strong>tabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"the\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, you can enable the Hide item navigation label <\/strong>option by returning to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menus <\/em><\/strong>and opening the Advanced <\/strong>tab of the Mega menu settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"hide\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Add Custom Selector to Mega Menu Width<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The last step is to make the mega menu item full-width. It can be done by selecting a respective option in the Layout <\/strong>tab of the Content <\/strong>settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, pick \u201cSelector\u201d as Mega Container Width Type<\/strong>. Also, note that the custom selector should be \u2018body\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"mega\n\n\n\n
