This tutorial explains how to configure the Date Picker<\/strong> settings of the WordPress JetBooking<\/em> plugin to link dates selected in JetFormBuilder<\/em> forms with the Booking Availability Calendar<\/strong> widget\/block. The tutorial considers setting configurations for all monotypic Custom Post Types<\/strong> (CPTs<\/strong>) and individual CPT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global Settings of the JetBooking Plugin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To start the available booking days from the specified day, navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Booking > Settings > Configuration<\/em><\/strong>. If you have the Week-long bookings <\/strong>toggle enabled, it allows only full-week bookings and turns on the Weekday offset <\/strong>field, where you can change the first booked day of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Starting day offset<\/strong> field, specify the earliest date allowed for the user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These settings refer to all monotypic Custom Post Types<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>specified in the General <\/strong>tab of the JetBooking <\/em>plugin. Settings of an Individual CPT<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the Instance CPT <\/strong>and open one of the posts to set the Date Picker <\/strong>settings linked with the Calendar<\/strong><\/a> widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scroll down to the Date Picker Config<\/strong> tab and enable the Date Picker Configuration<\/strong> toggle.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the same fields as in the Configuration <\/strong>tab of the JetBooking<\/em>. Set the needed fields here (in this tutorial, we set the Starting day offset<\/strong> and the Min days<\/strong> fields).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These toggles have the highest priority, more than the global settings and options of the current apartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If users enable the Date Picker Configuration<\/strong> toggle only, the standard values from the library for a specific apartment are active. Therefore, the General <\/strong>settings of the JetBooking <\/em>plugin \u200b\u200bdo not affect this CPT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If users set the values, the values will become active for the current CPT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you are ready, click the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button. Set the Date Picker Configuration<\/strong> for all the needed posts. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Displaying the Date Picker Settings in Forms and the Calendar Widget<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the Single Page Template<\/a><\/strong> of the instance CPT<\/strong>. Ensure the booking form<\/a> is added to the page. Refer to our How to Display the Booking Form on the Single Post Page<\/strong><\/a> guide to check the setup details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the Booking Availability Calendar<\/strong> widget to the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the \u201cPublish<\/strong>\u201d button once you are ready and proceed to the front end page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once selected in the Booking Availability Calendar<\/strong> widget, the check-in and check-out dates will automatically be displayed in the form.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you work with the Gutenberg (Block<\/em>) builder, proceed to the single page. Add the JetForm <\/strong>block and select the JetFormBuilder <\/em>form in the CHOOSE FORM<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, add the Booking Availability Calendar<\/strong> block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
