To create a meta box (both for WooCommerce<\/em> products and variations), follow the WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Meta Boxes<\/em><\/strong> path and hit the “Add New<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the General Settings<\/strong> section of the Add New Meta Box<\/strong> tab, enter the Meta Box Title<\/strong> and select the “WooCommerce Product Data” option in the Meta Box for<\/strong> drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skip the Visibility Conditions<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create the needed meta fields in the Meta fields<\/strong> section. Learn more about meta field types from the Custom Field Types Overview<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the given case, we added four meta fields: “Date,” “Materials,” “Style,” and “Imported.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you finish, hit the “Add Meta Box<\/strong>” button or the “Update Meta Box<\/strong>“ <\/strong>button if you edit a previously created meta box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The custom meta fields will appear in the WordPress Dashboard > Products<\/em><\/strong> tab when you click to add or edit a product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set Visibility Conditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the Visibility Conditions<\/strong> section of the meta box settings tab, you can indicate where the meta box will be displayed on the product editing page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this tab, you can also add a new condition by pressing the “New condition<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unroll the Product Data<\/strong> drop-down list of the Visibility Conditions<\/strong> section and select the tab of the Product<\/strong> panel settings where the meta box will be displayed. The Products Data<\/strong> drop-down list includes the “Custom,” “General,” “Inventory,” “Shipping,” “Linked Products,” and “Advanced” options. You can select the needed option from the list or leave the drop-down empty. If you leave the drop-down empty, a separate tab for the meta box in the Product setting panel<\/strong> will be created. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the appropriate option from the WordPress Dashboard > Add New Meta Box > Visibility Conditions > Product Data<\/em><\/strong> drop-down list and return to the WordPress Dashboard > Products > Edit Products <\/em><\/strong>tab to check the position of the created meta box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
