Build a Custom SQL Query for Pulling Product Reviews<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go to WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Query Builder<\/em><\/strong> and click the \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the General Settings <\/strong>section, complete the Name <\/strong>field (for example, \u201cQuery for Product Reviews\u201d) and switch Query Type <\/strong>to the \u201cSQL\/AI Query\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the From table<\/strong> field of the Custom SQL Query<\/strong> section, select the \u201ccommentmeta\u201d table. Then enable the Use Join<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select \u201cInner Join\u201d Join Type<\/strong> and add the \u201ccomments\u201d option as the Join Table<\/strong>. Also, set a \u201ccomment_ID\u201d value to the When current table column <\/strong>field and \u201ccolumn_id\u201d in the Is equal to other table column <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After it, let\u2019s add Where (query clauses) <\/strong>by clicking the \u201cAdd new<\/strong>\u201d button in the corresponding section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first clause, we need to set the \u201ccommentmeta.meta_key\u201d Column <\/strong>to be \u201cEqual\u201d (Compare <\/strong>operator) to the \u201crating\u201d Value<\/strong>. This way, we can pull the rating value in the Listing template<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following query clause should include \u201ccomments.comment_post_ID\u201d Column <\/strong>that is \u201cEqual\u201d (Compare <\/strong>field) to the \u201cCurrent ID\u201d Value<\/strong>. This clause allows pulling the reviews left for the current product only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set the following clause\u2019s Column <\/strong>to \u201ccomments.comment_approved\u201d, Compare <\/strong>operator to \u201cEqual\u201d, and Value <\/strong>to \u201c1.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The custom Query<\/strong> is now completed; save the query by pressing the \u201cAdd Query<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Create a Listing Template for Custom Query<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed with creating a Listing template<\/strong><\/a> for the custom query.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Listings\/Components<\/em><\/strong>. To create a new item, click the \u201cAdd<\/strong> New<\/strong>\u201d button. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose \u201cQuery Builder\u201d as a Listing source<\/strong>, pick the SQL query<\/strong> created in the previous step in the Query <\/strong>field, and set the Listing item name<\/strong> to the preferred value (here, we set the \u201cProduct Reviews Listing\u201d name.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then click on the \u201cCreate Listing Item<\/strong>\u201d button to open the editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Elementor editor, you can use the Dynamic Field<\/strong><\/a> widget to output the data from the custom Query<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set \u201cPost\/Term\/User\/Object Data\u201d as the Source<\/strong>. In the Object Field<\/strong>, we can select fields under the Comment <\/strong>section, as the custom Query<\/strong> is built for the \u201ccomments\u201d and \u201ccommentmeta\u201d tables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, we use the \u201cPost ID\u201d option field and activate the Filter field output <\/strong>toggle to set the \u201cGet post\/page title\u201d Callback<\/strong>. This callback shows the product title for which the review is written.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, the star rating can be displayed using Elementor\u2019s Rating<\/strong> widget.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Rating <\/strong>field, press the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button and pick the \u201cCurrent Object Field\u201d option, in which the \u201cmeta_value\u201d field under the section with the Query <\/strong>for the product review should be selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, we can also show the content review using the \u201cContent\u201d option as the Object Field<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you can add other fields to the Listing template<\/strong> if needed and save it by pressing the \u201cPublish<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Add a Listing Grid to a Single Product Page<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once the Listing item<\/strong> is saved, we should open the Single Product Template<\/strong><\/a> to add the Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a> widget. In the described case, we use a Single Product Template<\/strong> provided by the JetWooBuilder<\/em><\/a> plugin. Therefore, we proceed to WordPress Dashboard > Woo Page Builder <\/em><\/strong>and open the template\u2019s editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the template, we add a Listing Grid<\/strong> widget and select the Listing <\/strong>template for product reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
