Create a Listing Item<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since we intend to structure the content and divide the CPT<\/strong> posts (“Properties” CPT<\/strong>, in this case) into groups based on the taxonomies (“Locations”, in this tutorial), we create a corresponding Listing Item<\/a> with the “Terms” Listing Source<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the listing item, we added the Dynamic Field<\/strong><\/a> to display the taxonomy name (pick the “Post\/Term\/User\/Object Data” Source <\/strong>and “Title” Object Field<\/strong>) and the Dynamic Image<\/strong><\/a> to display images added via the meta fields<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the last step, set the Listing Item<\/strong> to be clickable so the needed post is accessible when clicked. To do that, unfold the Listing Settings<\/strong> tab and enable the Make listing item clickable <\/strong>toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Build a Query<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This query automatically retrieves a list of product categories and adds each category as a separate tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > <\/em><\/strong>Query Builder<\/em><\/strong><\/a> <\/em><\/strong>tab. Here, press the “Add New<\/strong>” button at the top of the page and create a “Terms T<\/a>y<\/a>pe<\/a>” Query<\/strong> for the needed Taxonomy<\/strong> (the “Locations” taxonomy, in this case).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Configure a Mega Menu<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Menu<\/em><\/strong> tab. Here, create a new menu<\/a> or add the required page to the previously built one. In this tutorial, we add the listing to the “Properties” page. To add a mega menu to a menu item, click the “Settings<\/strong>” button next to the menu item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then enable the Use Mega content <\/strong>toggle in the newly appeared pop-up. Pick the suitable editor (“Block editor” or “Elementor”), and click the “Edit Mega content<\/strong>” button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drag and drop the Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a> widget to the mega menu. Add the created listing item for taxonomies to the mega menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, move to the Custom Query<\/strong> tab, enable the Use Custom Query<\/strong> toggle, and select the created “Terms Type” Query<\/strong> in the Custom Query<\/strong> drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insert the Menu into a Header<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > Theme Templates<\/em><\/strong> tab. Open the existing header template or create a new one<\/a>. Assign the header to the required page. In this case, the header is assigned to the entire site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the Mega Menu<\/strong> widget to the page. Select the previously built menu from the Select Menu for Desktop<\/strong> drop-down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the front end and open the page where the header is assigned. Unroll the mega menu and click the appropriate link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
