Build a Query<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go to WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Query Builder <\/em><\/strong>and press \u201cAdd New<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fill in the Name <\/strong>field in the General Settings <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the desired Query Type<\/strong>. Among the options that work with Geo Search are: \u201cPosts Query,\u201d \u201cTerms Query,\u201d \u201cUsers Query,\u201d and \u201cCustom Content Type Query.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the next section now. If you’ve chosen the default \u201cPosts Query\u201d type, it will be called Post Query.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the General <\/strong>tab, choose the Post Type<\/strong>, such as JetEngine<\/em>\u2019s Custom Post Type or skip this step to work with posts of any type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Post Status<\/strong> options allow specifying posts\u2019 status (published, drafts, etc.) if necessary.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Geo Search<\/strong> tab, select a point on the map using the Select location<\/strong> field. Once the user opens the page, the map will be centered on this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete the Address Field <\/strong>with a meta field value (Name\/ID <\/strong>in the meta field settings) created beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specify a radius in the Distance <\/strong>field for users to search around the center selected in the Select location <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the Units <\/strong>options for the map to display distances in either miles or kilometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cAdd Query<\/strong>\u201d button to save the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customize a Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Head to the page where a listing is located or where you want to place it or create a new page by going to WordPress Dashboard > Pages <\/em><\/strong>and clicking the \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d button.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tutorial describes editing a page with Elementor; however, you can recreate the same case in the Block Editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the Listing Grid <\/strong>widget on the page. Select a Listing <\/strong>built earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjust the General <\/strong>settings according to your preferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to the Custom Query <\/strong>tab and activate the Use Custom Query <\/strong>toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the switcher is activated, choose the Custom Query <\/strong>built in the previous step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
