Adjust the CPT Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to the WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Post Types<\/em><\/strong> and select the needed Custom Post Type<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>among the listed ones in the Custom Post Types List<\/strong> tab.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d link next to the needed item to open the CPT<\/strong>\u2019s settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Move to the General Settings<\/strong> tab and enable the Custom Meta Storage<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If activated, this toggle turns on the Custom DB table name <\/strong>text field. This field displays the name of the database table, which will be created to store the CPT <\/strong>data. Here, you can type another name of the appropriate table.<\/p>\n\n\n

If the Custom Meta Storage<\/strong> toggle is activated, the \"Save as separate fields\" option of the Repeater<\/strong> <\/a> meta fields is not available. More details about saving the repeater fields as separate fields in a database can be found in the How to Save and Query Repeater Fields as Separate Fields<\/strong> <\/a> tutorial.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cUpdate Post Type<\/strong>\u201d button to save the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n

The CPT <\/strong> metadata is stored in a separate table for new data only. All previously created data should be transferred separately.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
