In this tutorial, we will work with the BaliRento<\/a> dynamic template.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Create Attributes and Their Terms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To start, go to WordPress Dashboard > Products > Attributes <\/em><\/strong>of the WooCommerce <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete the Name <\/strong>and the Slug <\/strong>fields for the new attribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Type <\/strong>selector, pick the \u201cBooking Service\u201d option and press the \u201cAdd attribute<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, we create the \u201cServices\u201d attribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add terms to the attribute, click the \u201cConfigure terms<\/strong>\u201d button next to the added attribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete the Name <\/strong>and the Slug <\/strong>for the term. Optionally, add the Description<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we create the \u201cAirport Transfer\u201d term (Name<\/strong>) with the \u201cairport-transfer\u201d Slug <\/strong>and \u201cOne-time payment for airport transfer to and from your destination.\u201d Description<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, set the Service Cost<\/strong>. In our case, it\u2019s \u201c25.\u201d You can also set the price in the \u201c00.00\u201d format, like \u201c19.99\u201d if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cost Format <\/strong>field can be customized as desired. However, it should always include the \u201c%s\u201d value to display the price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, you can activate the Multiply cost by guest count <\/strong>checkbox. It will multiply the configured service price by the guest count. For instance, in our example, we activate this checkbox so the airport transfer will be multiplied by the number of selected guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One more checkbox you can activate is called Everyday Service?<\/strong>; <\/strong>when it is activated, the service will be multiplied by the number of booked days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To save the term, press the \u201cAdd New\u2026<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We create one more term. This time, it is \u201cBreakfast Included\u201d with the \u201cBreakfast included daily, priced per guest.\u201d Description<\/strong> and \u201c15\u201d Service Cost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, we change the Cost Format <\/strong>to \u201c%s \/ per guest\u201d and activate both Multiply cost by guest count <\/strong>and Everyday Service? <\/strong>checkboxes to multiply the cost of the service, both by guests and days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget to save the term by pressing the \u201cAdd New\u2026<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we add one more attribute, \u201cSpecial Packages\u201d with the \u201cBooking Service\u201d Type<\/strong> and press the \u201cAdd attribute<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After clicking the \u201cConfigure Terms<\/strong>\u201d button next to the added attribute, we add the \u201cFamily Package\u201d term with the \u201cWelcome gift for children (toys and activity kit) and one family-friendly excursion or activity\u201d Description<\/strong> and \u201c100\u201d Service Cost<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, we don\u2019t activate the Multiply cost by guest count <\/strong>and Everyday Service? <\/strong>checkboxes, as this service is intended to be a one-time charge and does not depend on the number of guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The term should be then added by pressing the \u201cAdd new<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, we add one more term, \u201cRomantic Package\u201d with the Description <\/strong>and Service Cost<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This package is also a one-time service and does not depend on the number of guests, so we don\u2019t activate the Multiply cost by guest count <\/strong>and Everyday Service? <\/strong>checkboxes as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To save the term, press the \u201cAdd New\u2026<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connect Attributes and Terms with Products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now, we should connect the added attributes and their terms to products. So head to WordPress Dashboard > Products > All Products <\/em><\/strong>of the WooCommerce <\/em>section and open one of the products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open the Attributes <\/strong>tab and click the \u201cAdd existing<\/strong>\u201d dropdown to open the list with the already-built attributes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pick one of the attributes and click its name to add it to the product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, press the empty area in the Value(s) <\/strong>field and pick the desired terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We repeat the same procedure with two attributes and click the \u201cSave attributes<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, press the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button to save the product and repeat the same procedure for all the needed products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things to know<\/div>

The product page<\/a> can be built with the JetWooBuilder<\/em><\/a> plugin and then assigned in the WooCommerce<\/em> settings<\/a>. This product page should include the Single Add to Cart<\/strong> widget in order to display the added attributes.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we want to book a \u201cRainforest Guest House.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price for the night is set to \u201c$25.00\u201d; we pick \u201c3\u201d Guests <\/strong>and select two nights for booking (\u201c2024-11-01 – 2024 -11-03.\u201d) So, now the total price is \u201c150.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, our added attributes and their terms are displayed. So we pick the \u201cAirport Transfer,\u201d the price of which is multiplied by the number of guests, which means \u201c25\u201d is multiplied by \u201c3\u201d and added to the current total price and equals \u201c225.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also select the \u201cBreakfast Included\u201d option, the price of which (\u201c15\u201d) is multiplied by the number of guests (\u201c3\u201d) and the number of nights (\u201c2\u201d) and added to the current total price (\u201c225\u201d) and equals \u201c315.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final service we pick is \u201cFamily Package,\u201d which costs \u201c100.\u201d This price shouldn\u2019t be multiplied by days and guests, so it is just added to the total price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The total price is \u201c415\u201d now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the services are selected, we press the \u201cBook Now<\/strong>\u201d button to make a booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we open the cart<\/a> with the booking details. Here, press the \u201cPROCEED TO CHECKOUT<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we are redirected to the checkout page<\/a>. Complete the billing details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, you are redirected to the \u201cThank You\u201d page<\/a> with the details of your booking order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head to WordPress Dashboard > Bookings <\/em><\/strong>to check the booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find the made booking and press the \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d button to check the booking details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
