Generate a Form for Inserting the CCT Items<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To generate a form for CCT<\/strong> item creation, head to the WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Custom Content Types<\/em><\/strong> and open the required CCT<\/strong> (\u201cWebinars\u201d in our case) settings by clicking the \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you create \u201cDate<\/a>,\u201d and\/or \u201cDatetime<\/a>\u201d custom fields for the CCT<\/strong>, enable the Save as timestamp <\/strong>toggle in their settings.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

On the CCT<\/strong> editing page, hit the \u201cCreate new form<\/strong>\u201d button from the right Actions<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After clicking the button, you will be redirected to the editing page of the created form<\/strong><\/a>. If needed, alter the form title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The form contains fields with the same labels, names, and types as the CCT<\/strong> custom meta fields<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, it\u2019s the \u201cWebinar name\u201d Text Field<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cWebinar description\u201d Textarea Field<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cWebinar image\u201d Media Field<\/strong><\/a>, \u201cScheduled date and time\u201d Datetime Field<\/strong><\/a>, and \u201cRegistration link\u201d Text Field<\/strong>. Also, the form contains the Action Button<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the form contains the Media Field <\/strong>blocks, proceed to the Block <\/strong>settings tab and open the Field <\/strong>tab. Here, enable the Insert attachment<\/strong> toggle and set the FIELD VALUE<\/strong> according to the \u201cMedia<\/a>\u201d meta field settings. For example, we selected the \u201cMedia ID\u201d Value format <\/strong>for the meta field, so we set the \u201cAttachment ID\u201d FIELD VALUE <\/strong>for the form field. Without these settings, users cannot add files via the form. Also, you can set the User access<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, proceed to the Post Submit Actions<\/strong><\/a> section of the JetForm<\/strong> tab, where the\u00a0 \u201cInsert\/Update Custom Content Type Item\u201d action is set by default. To check its settings, hover over it and press the \u201cpencil<\/strong>\u201d icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
