Things to know<\/div>

To set up the SEO title and description, you should first build the page for it and add filters to it. So, check the How to Set Up SEO Rules<\/strong><\/a> tutorial before recreating the use case described below.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Set SEO Title and Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n

Head to the WordPress Dashboard > Smart Filters > Settings <\/em><\/strong>and open the SEO Rules Settings <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure that the Use SEO & Sitemap Rules <\/strong>toggle is activated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, ensure that the Page URL<\/strong> (here, \u201cfilters-page\u201d) is completed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, select the Provider<\/strong>. In this case, it is set to \u201cJetEngine\u201d as we will work with the JetEngine<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Query ID<\/strong>, set the one that connects your filters and provider if such a connection exists. If not, leave it empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we will add an SEO Title<\/strong>. To do this, we click on the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button next to the SEO Title <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, we pick the \u201cConference Format Filter\u201d option and click it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right away, the additional settings are opened. As this filter is the \u201cRadio<\/a>\u201d one, the settings contain three fields: Text before<\/strong>, Text after<\/strong>, and Fallback<\/strong>. Here, you can enter the texts that will be displayed correspondingly before and after the filtered value and a fallback \u2014 text that will be displayed if there are no values picked in the filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we will leave the fields empty and press the \u201cAdd<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We click the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button again, this time selecting the \u201cConference Type Filter\u201d option from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As this filter is one of the \u201cCheckboxes list<\/a>\u201d filter types, it includes the following fields: Text before<\/strong>, Text after<\/strong>, Fallback<\/strong>, Delimiter<\/strong>, and Last item delimiter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time we complete the Delimiter <\/strong>field with the \u201c,\u201d value and the Last item delimiter <\/strong>with the \u201cand\u201d value. The Delimiter<\/strong> will separate values if two or more values are selected, and the Last item delimiter<\/strong> will be shown correspondingly before the last item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, press the \u201cAdd<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, we add the \u201cConference(s) for\u201d text to the SEO Title <\/strong>field and click the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button once again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, we pick the \u201cNumber of Participants Filter\u201d option and click it to open its settings.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, we observe the same four fields as before \u2014 Text before<\/strong>, Text after<\/strong>, Fallback<\/strong>, Delimiter<\/strong>, and Last item delimiter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We complete the Text before <\/strong>with the \u201cfor\u201d value, the Text after <\/strong>with the \u201cPeople\u201d value, leave the Fallback <\/strong>empty (so there will be nothing displayed if no items are selected,) Delimiter <\/strong>field with the \u201c,\u201d value and the Last item delimiter <\/strong>with the \u201cand\u201d value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To save the changes, we push the \u201cAdd<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we move to the SEO Description <\/strong>field and start it with the \u201cCheck the\u201d text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also press the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button and find the \u201cConference Format Filter\u201d option in the list, click it to select, and press the \u201cAdd<\/strong>\u201d button without making any changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, we press the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button and pick the \u201cConference Type Filter\u201d option from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, add the \u201c,\u201d Delimiter <\/strong>and \u201cand\u201d Last Delimiter<\/strong>, and click the \u201cAdd<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, we add the \u201cconferences\u201d text to the SEO Description <\/strong>field and hit the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the list, pick the \u201cNumber of Participants Filter\u201d option and press it. In our case, the Text before <\/strong>field is completed with the \u201cfor\u201d value, the Text after <\/strong>with the \u201cpeople on Arnau website.\u201d value, and the Fallback<\/strong> with the \u201con Arnau website\u201d value. Then, add the \u201c,\u201d Delimiter <\/strong>and \u201cand\u201d Last Delimiter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, press the \u201cSave Rules<\/strong>\u201d button to finish the setup.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Display SEO Title and SEO Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can display the SEO title and description using the following page builders: Elementor, Block Editor (Gutenberg), or Bricks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elementor display<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the page where the filters are located. Add any widget that supports the Dynamic Tags <\/strong>feature, such as the Heading <\/strong>widget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Push the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button next to the main source field, in this case, Title<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the JetSmartFilters <\/strong>section, pick the \u201cSEO Title\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Advanced <\/strong>settings, you can adjust the Before<\/strong>, After<\/strong>, and Fallback <\/strong>texts if needed. However, we leave these fields empty for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adjust the other settings if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, we add one more Heading<\/strong> and press the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button next to the Title <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the \u201cSEO Description\u201d option in the JetSmartFilters <\/strong>section and adjust its settings if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cPublish<\/strong>\u201d button whenever ready to save the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Block Editor (Gutenberg) display<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you work with the Block Editor (Gutenberg), add a block that supports JetEngine<\/em>\u2019s macros (for instance, Heading<\/strong>) and press the \u201cDynamic Tags<\/strong>\u201d button above the block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the \u201cCustom data\u201d option in the SOURCE <\/strong>dropdown and the \u201cJetSmartFilters SEO Title\u201d option in the SELECT DATA TO SHOW <\/strong>dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This way, you can also add an SEO description. Just pick the \u201cJetSmartFilters SEO Description\u201d option in the SELECT DATA TO SHOW <\/strong>dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once ready, hit the \u201cPublish\/Save<\/strong>\u201d button to save the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bricks display<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you work in the Bricks editor, add the element that supports the \u201cDynamic Token<\/strong>\u201d functionality (for instance, Heading<\/strong>) and press the corresponding button next to the main customization field. In the case of the Heading <\/strong>element, it\u2019s the first field with the \u201cI am a heading\u201d text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, find the JET SMART FILTERS <\/strong>section and select the needed options: \u201cSEO Title\u201d and \u201cSEO Description.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, pick the filter values to see the SEO title and SEO description you have adjusted in the JetSmartFilters <\/em>settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you can observe, the texts are now displayed. The content depends on the status and dynamic values you entered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
