Check ACF Fields<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go to WordPress Dashboard > ACF > Field Groups <\/em><\/strong>and open the field group settings you want to transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, let\u2019s check how to transfer a group with the \u201cText,\u201d \u201cCheckbox,\u201d and \u201cImage\u201d fields.<\/p>\n\n\n

For other Field Types<\/strong> transfers, you may need a custom code.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cText\u201d field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Open the \u201cText\u201d field to check its settings. Pay attention to the Field Name <\/strong>value; you will need it when you set up JetEngine<\/em>\u2019s meta field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we have a \u201cProperty Style\u201d Field Label<\/strong> with a corresponding Field Name<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCheckbox\u201d field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the \u201cCheckbox\u201d field settings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this field, except for the Field Name <\/strong>(here, \u201camenities\u201d), also pay attention to the Choices <\/strong>added; the same choices will be needed for the JetEngine<\/em>\u2019s meta fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our case, we have such options completed in the Choices <\/strong>field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFree Wi-Fi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swimming Pool<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car Parking<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outdoor Dining\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, make sure that the Return Value <\/strong>is set to \u201cValue.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cImage\u201d field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The next field is going to be an image. In this case, we added a field with the \u201cproperty_image\u201d Field Name<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the field with the \u201cImage\u201d Field Type<\/strong>, also check that the Return Format <\/strong>is set to \u201cImage URL.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The option you choose in the Library <\/strong>field is up to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, check the Location Rules <\/strong>tab of the field group Settings<\/strong>. In our case, the fields group is attached to the \u201cProperties\u201d post type. So, later, we want to transfer meta fields to the same post type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create JetEngine Meta Box<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now, head to WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Meta Boxes <\/em><\/strong>and click the \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete the Meta Box Title<\/strong> and set where the meta box will be attached to in the Meta Box for <\/strong>field. In our case, \u201cPosts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we pick the needed post type (here, \u201cProperties\u201d) in the Enable For Post Types<\/strong> field of the Visibility Conditions <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Head to the Meta fields <\/strong>section and press the \u201cNew Meta Field<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, we add a Label <\/strong>and paste a Name\/ID <\/strong>that was previously added to the ACF<\/em>\u2019s \u201cText\u201d field into the Field Name <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also set the Field type <\/strong>to \u201cText.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Press the \u201cNew Meta Field<\/strong>\u201d button one more time. Complete the Label <\/strong>and ensure that the Name\/ID <\/strong>field of the new field is the same as the Field Name <\/strong>of the corresponding \u201cCheckbox\u201d ACF<\/em> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This field will be of the \u201cCheckbox\u201d Field type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, we set the Source <\/strong>to \u201cBulk Manual Input\u201d option to be able to add Bulk Options <\/strong>in one field in such format as for the previously added ACF<\/em> field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outdoor Dining\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure you activate the Save as array <\/strong>toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, add one more field, this time of the \u201cMedia\u201d Field type<\/strong>. Ensure that the Name\/ID <\/strong>of this field is the same as the one used in the Field Name <\/strong>field of the corresponding ACF<\/em> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set the Value format <\/strong>to the \u201cMedia ID\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, click the \u201cAdd Meta Box<\/strong>\u201d button to save the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Review Posts Meta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to one of the posts of the post type to which the meta boxes are attached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, you can check that the metadata is doubled both in the JetEngine<\/em> and ACF<\/em> fields because it was transferred from ACF<\/em> to JetEngine<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you ensure everything works fine, you can head to WordPress Dashboard > ACF > Field Groups <\/em><\/strong>and delete the field group you transferred by hitting the \u201cTrash<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
