From this guide, you will learn how to activate and use the timepicker with the Check-in\/Check-out fields for WordPress bookings with the help of the JetBooking <\/em>plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n

This guide is based on the RentGo<\/strong> dynamic template<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adjust Timepicker Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Head to WordPress Dashboard > Bookings > Settings <\/em><\/strong>and open the Schedule <\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, activate the Timepicker <\/strong>toggle. Once done, you will see the further settings available for customization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the Timepicker <\/strong>is activated, you can activate the Timepicker restrictions <\/strong>toggle to set the Buffer Time <\/strong>to reserve some time between the bookings and limit the back-to-back bookings. By default, the 2-hour Buffer Time <\/strong>is set.<\/p>\n\n\n

Things to know<\/div>

Mind that the Timepicker restrictions<\/strong> feature works best with the \"Per Night (last booked date is not included)\" option selected in the Booking period<\/strong> field of the Configuration<\/strong> settings tab.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Next, you can also change the Time range <\/strong>available for selection and the Time Slot Interval<\/strong>. The last is set to 1 hour by default, which means slots like \u201c9:00,\u201d \u201c10:00,\u201d and \u201c11:00\u201d will be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the settings are adjusted, no more action is required; changes will be saved automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The time format in the picker depends on the one selected in the global WordPress settings. So, if desired, one can also change the Time Format<\/strong> by proceeding to the WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General <\/em><\/strong>directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a Booking Form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Next, we want to display the Check-in\/Check-out fields <\/strong>with the time picker next to them in the single page booking form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The booking form was built beforehand with the JetFormBuilder<\/em><\/a> <\/em>plugin in the WordPress Dashboard > JetFormBuilder > Forms <\/em><\/strong>directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, build a booking form<\/a> with the Check-in\/check-out dates <\/strong>field included if you haven\u2019t built it previously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be aware that here, the time picker dropdown will not be visible, but we will observe it on the front end later. However, you can set up the Check-in\/check-out dates <\/strong>field with a time picker by changing the LAYOUT <\/strong>and FIELDS POSITION<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the booking form is built, press the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the Form to the Page\/Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the page\/template where you want to place the form. In our case, it\u2019s a Single page<\/a> built with JetThemeCore<\/em><\/a> <\/em>and Elementor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find and place a JetForm<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>widget\/block\/element on the page. Pick a just-built form in the Choose Form <\/strong>list and adjust other settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save the page\/template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the Result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now, we open any post on the front end to check the time picker. In our case, it\u2019s a car single page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the page, you can observe the form you added and the time picker next to the check-in\/check-out fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, we complete the form to book a car and press the \u201cRent Now<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are redirected to the checkout with the billing and order details, and once it is completed, we press the \u201cPLACE ORDER<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, the thank you page is displayed. Right here, we can observe the booking and order details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the WordPress Dashboard > Bookings > Bookings <\/em><\/strong>directory to check the bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right here, the last booking is displayed. Press the \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d button to check the details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the opened pop-up, we can observe the booking details as well as the time picked in the check-in and check-out fields. This data can be changed and saved if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
