This method involves creating a custom Select Filter<\/strong><\/a> that targets product titles using a specific query variable. Let\u2019s walk through the setup process step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create and configure the filter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To create a filter, proceed to WordPress Dashboard > Smart Filters > Add <\/em><\/strong>N<\/em><\/strong>ew<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the Filter Name<\/strong> and pick the Filter Type <\/strong>(we choose \u201cSelect\u201d in this case, but it can be either \u201cRadio<\/a>\u201d or \u201cCheckboxes<\/a>\u201d filters). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the \u201cPosts\u201d option in the Data Source <\/strong>field. The Placeholder <\/strong>field can be set up according to your needs; we leave its default setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, choose the \u201cProducts\u201d option in the Post Type<\/strong> field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, in the Query Variable<\/strong> field, click the \u201cDynamic Tag<\/strong><\/a>\u201d icon and select the \u201cPlain Query Variable\u201d option. In the newly appeared Variable Name<\/strong> field, insert the \u201cp\u201d value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
