Create a Custom Header in Elementor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Making a header from scratch may be complicated, but not when using the JetThemeCore<\/em> plugin. Thanks to it, you\u2019ll adjust your own custom header to a website of any type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plugin installation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

First of all, check if JetThemeCore is installed on your WordPress site. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\"jetthemecore\n\n\n\n

Add a new header<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On this step, click on Crocoblock > Theme Templates<\/em><\/strong>. <\/strong>As soon as you see the \u201cTheme Parts\u201d <\/strong>screen, choose Header > Add New<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"add\n\n\n\n

Come up with the header name<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will be asked to choose a type of template, which should be a \u201cHeader.\u201d Also, set the Template Content Type<\/strong> to Elementor. Enter its name and tap \u201cCreate Template<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"adding\n\n\n\n

Customize the header<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Using diverse widgets from the Elementor and JetPlugins <\/strong>kit, feel free to build headers of any complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just drag and drop a widget you like to the purposed place on a page and continue customizing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"header\n\n\n\n

You can now play with options setting the background color, buttons, navigation menu, etc. Hopefully, you\u2019ll like this process and find it not only time-saving but also really engaging. That is how the workflow with JetPlugins is meant to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Build a Header in Gutenberg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

JetThemeCore<\/em> works not only with the Elementor page builder. This plugin allows building a header using Gutenberg as well. To learn how to customize the header in the WordPress block editor, proceed to the Header modification<\/strong> video tutorial<\/a>.

To create a header in the default WordPress Editor, head back to the Crocoblock > Theme Templates <\/em><\/strong>directory. Click the \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>button.

The Template Type<\/strong> will be \u201cHeader.\u201d Proceed to the Template Content Type<\/strong> and set it to \u201cBlock Editor.\u201d Don\u2019t forget to enter the template\u2019s name and click on the \u201cCreate Template<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"creating\n\n\n\n

Unlike Elementor, Gutenberg has blocks, not widgets, and the header will look different. Besides, not all Crocoblock<\/strong> widgets are available in the default WordPress editor. For now, you can add the Site Logo<\/strong> block and the Profile Menu<\/strong> one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"block\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Get a Ready-Made Header with the Magic Button  <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Magic Button library<\/strong> is very helpful when you don\u2019t want to make a header on your own. So, let\u2019s check how it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start by repeating the first three steps<\/strong> described above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the Magic Button <\/strong>icon. <\/strong>After that, you will be redirected to Elementor.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Header <\/strong>section, you\u2019ll find multiple Crocoblock pre-made templates. <\/strong>Just decide which one matches your page the best and import it by tapping \u201cInsert<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, style up the header with the JetPlugins<\/a> widgets. In the Edit <\/strong>section, adjust the background color, buttons, and anything you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"header\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Add a Header to the Page Template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The JetThemeCore <\/em>plugin got updated to 2.0.0, so now you can create page templates and assign header, body, and footer in a couple of clicks.

To add a freshly built header to the template, go to WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > Theme Builder<\/em><\/strong> and click on \u201cCreate new page template<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"theme\n\n\n\n

There will be a new pop-up window where you can set one or multiple conditions, according to which the given template will be either shown on specific pages or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"create\n\n\n\n

Click on the \u201cAdd Condition<\/strong>\u201d button and choose whether you want the header to be shown on the entire site or a specific page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"template\n\n\n\n

With JetThemeCore, <\/em>you\u2019re not limited to the number of conditions, so you can add as many conditions as needed. Just click on \u201cAdd Condition<\/strong>\u201d and adjust the settings according to your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"add\n\n\n\n

Once you hit the \u201cCreate<\/strong>\u201d button, you will see a new template in the JetThemeCore <\/em>dashboard.

To add a header template, click on \u201cAdd header<\/strong>\u201d and either create a new one by clicking on the \u201cCreate templat<\/strong>e\u201d button or choose an existing header from the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"add\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s add an already created header. Select the needed one in the Template Library<\/strong> pop-up window and hit \u201cUse<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"template\n\n\n\n

Now you can see that the chosen header is assigned to the page\u2019s template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"assigned\n\n\n\n

Add more sections to the template, and if you want to delete\/duplicate the template or quickly change the conditions, click the three dots in the right upper corner of the template section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"edit\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
