With the JetBlog<\/em> plugin, you can create a customizable video playlist in WordPress using the Video Playlist<\/strong><\/a> widget. This tool allows you to display videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or custom repeater fields, and gives control over layout, styling, and metadata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, ensure that the Video Playlist<\/strong> is activated on the WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > JetPlugins Settings > JetBlog > Available Widgets <\/em><\/strong>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n

If you want to get data for YouTube videos, create a Google API key on the Google Developers Console APIs Dashboard<\/strong><\/a> and paste the created key in the WordPress Dashboard > Crocoblock > JetPlugins Settings > JetBlog > <\/em><\/strong>General Settings<\/em><\/strong><\/a> > YouTube API Key <\/em><\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, you can go to the page, post, or template created in the Elementor Editor and search for the Video Playlist<\/strong><\/a> widget. Drag-n-drop it to the free section on the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Setting the Video Playlist Source<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Manual Video List<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Select the \u201cCustom Video List\u201d option from the Source <\/strong>dropdown. New items can be added by clicking the \u201c+ Add Item<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For every video item, you can set a title, YouTube or Vimeo URL, start time (in seconds), custom thumbnail, and thumbnail size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

YouTube channel or playlist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Select the \u201cYouTube Channel or Playlist\u201d option from the Source <\/strong>dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, enter the channel or playlist URL in the Source URL<\/strong> field and assign the Number of videos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Videos from the Repeater field<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cRepeater Field\u201d option allows displaying videos from the custom \u201cRepeater<\/a>\u201d meta field created with the JetEngine<\/em><\/a> or ACF<\/em> plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cRepeater\u201d meta field can also be added to posts, taxonomies, and users via the Meta Box <\/strong><\/a>feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We created a field by pressing the \u201cNew Meta Field<\/strong>\u201d button, filled in the Label<\/strong> and Name\/ID<\/strong>, and selected the \u201cRepeater\u201d Field type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By pressing the \u201cNew Repeater Field<\/strong>\u201d button, we add two fields with the \u201cText\u201d Type<\/strong>: one for the video URL and another for the video title (this one is optional).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, the settings can be saved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, we added a new post and filled in the repeater item fields with video titles and URLs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Video Playlist <\/strong>widget with the \u201cRepeater Field\u201d Source<\/strong> selected <\/strong>should be placed on the Listing template<\/strong><\/a> or Single page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, set such fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
