This tutorial includes information about enabling search algorithms only for selected taxonomies. As a result, it will show the results from posts or pages only. It depends on your setting choice.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adjusting Taxonomies in Elementor Page Builder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While working with the AJAX Search<\/strong> widget, you should go to the Content <\/strong>section and open the Search Form<\/strong> block. Here enable Categories List<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After showing the list, you might see a Taxonomy<\/strong> dropdown with needed terms, such as categories, tags, and formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A little lower, type in the desired text in the Select Placeholder <\/strong>field to change the default \u201cAll Categories\u201d value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"\"\n\n\n\n

Also, you can adjust the remaining settings to customize the search further. Optionally, move to the Search Query <\/strong>section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activate the Search in taxonomy terms <\/strong>switcher. It will enable the search among names of the specified Taxonomies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"search\n\n\n\n

Here you are. Let\u2019s see if the search functions correctly. Save all changes by pushing the \u201cPublish\/Update<\/strong>\u201d button and check the result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we type in \u201cGermany\u201d and specify the city as \u201cBerlin,\u201d it will show results concerning only the typed text and specified taxonomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"taxonomy\n\n\n\n
