This tutorial is meant to guide you through the process of WordPress<\/a> installation. As you might know, there are lots of web hosting services, such as HostGator<\/strong>, SiteGround<\/strong>, GoDaddy<\/strong>, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This specific tutorial is based on one of the most popular web hosts – Bluehost,<\/strong> to which you can subscribe using this link.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generally speaking, the process of WordPress<\/strong> installation can be roughly divided into three steps. This allows to upload WordPress<\/strong> to the server, create a database, and actually install the WordPress CMS<\/strong>. Keep reading to learn about these steps in more detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uploading WordPress to Server<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, you need to download the latest version of WordPress<\/a><\/strong> to your hard drive. As a result, the compressed WordPress<\/strong> package will be downloaded to your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, navigate to your Bluehost<\/strong> server cPanel<\/strong> and open the File Manager<\/strong> tool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"navigate\n\n\n\n

Then select the Web Root<\/strong> directory and click the Submit<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"select\n\n\n\n

You will be redirected to the File Manager<\/strong> panel, where you have to click the Upload<\/strong> button on the top bar in order to upload your WordPress<\/strong> archive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the Choose File<\/strong> button and select the files you want to upload. The progress bar in the bottom-right corner indicates how much time is left before the uploading is finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"upload\n\n\n\n

As soon as you see the Complete<\/strong> notification, you can go back to the file manager. Click the Go Back<\/strong> option to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now extract the WordPress<\/strong> package. Check the file you’ve just uploaded and click the Extract<\/strong> button on the top bar. After the extraction finishes, you can delete the archive from your file manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then you need to scroll down and navigate to the database tools<\/strong> block on your cPanel.<\/strong> Here click the MySQL Wizard<\/strong> tool to create a new database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"click\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Type in your new database name in the corresponding field. Save it somewhere safe in order to have access to it whenever it\u2019s necessary. Click the Next Step<\/strong> button to move further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"type\n\n\n\n

The Actual WordPress Installation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Open your browser and input your domain address in the address bar. Don\u2019t forget to specify the WordPress<\/strong> installation folder at the end. The WordPress<\/strong> installation screen will open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you can see the Select language <\/strong>dropdown, where you can choose a language, which is convenient for you. Click the Continue <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"select\n\n\n\n

The next screen informs you that you need your database details to proceed further. Click the Let\u2019s go<\/strong> button to move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"database\n\n\n\n

Fill in the next tab\u2019s required fields, such as Database Name, Username, <\/strong>and Password.<\/strong> (Pay attention that this is the same data from steps of Creating a database block<\/strong>!) Click the Submit<\/strong> button to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"\u0441reating\n\n\n\n

Afterward, click the Run the Installation<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"click\n\n\n\n

The Welcome<\/strong> screen informs you that it will take only five more minutes to finish the WordPress<\/strong> installation process. Type in all the necessary information, such as Site Title, Username, Password<\/strong> and your Email.<\/strong> Don\u2019t forget to save all this information. After that, you proceed to the Success! <\/strong>screen by clicking the Install WordPress<\/strong>. Click the Log in<\/strong> button to log in to your WordPress Dashboard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\"welcome\n\n\n\n
