Before the following steps ensure that you\u2019ve installed and activated the JetEngine<\/a> plugin. It will help us to add the necessary information simply without the deep knowledge of the code. Thanks to our developers we can manage to display the content from meta fields in posts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

JetEngine Settings in the WP Dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the WP Dashboard > JetEngine > Meta Box<\/em><\/strong>. Here add the new one with the so-named button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I<\/b>n the following screen fill in the Name<\/strong>, select in the Meta Box<\/strong> for dropdown Post option<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Meta\n\n\n\n

The next dropdown is called Post types<\/strong> and here you have to choose Posts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Posts\n\n\n\n

The next block is Meta Fields<\/strong> where you need to fill in gaps with the correspondent information: add the Title, ID<\/strong>, type, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scroll up and click on Add Meta Box<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Posts Setting in the WP Dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are still in the WP Dashboard. Now choose the Posts > All posts<\/strong> option. Select the one you want to change and click on the Edit link<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click to the Settings<\/strong> button that is in the upper-right of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Posts\n\n\n\n

Choose Options<\/strong> in the end of the list and tick in the following screen Custom Fields<\/strong>. It is situated in the Advanced Panels<\/strong> block.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then scroll until you reach the block with the name of Meta Box<\/strong> you\u2019ve created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you should choose the content to be displayed. In my case, it contains the image, link and time options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When everything is done, Update<\/strong> your settings on the right corner button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Final Settings in Elementor Editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Go to the Elementor<\/strong> editor with dropped the Smart Posts list and Posts Tiles<\/strong> widgets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on Edit<\/strong> button of the selected widget. Then proceed to the Content > Custom Fields<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the position of Meta<\/strong> to be shown with the toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the Item #1<\/strong> dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Adding\n\n\n\n

Fill in the Key<\/strong> field with the Name<\/strong> (or the ID) of the section you\u2019ve previously created. In my case, the names are \u201cimage\u201d, \u201clink\u201d and \u201ctime\u201d. If you have several ones, as I do, disjoint them. For each Meta Field<\/strong> data, you have to add the new item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the Label<\/strong> if you have, for example, the link. You might skip this option you haven\u2019t got text data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the dropdown Prepare meta value with callback<\/strong> choose the most suitable option. For example, for an image, it could be the \u201cwp_get_attachment_image\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update and preview your changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
