Dynamic Meta<\/strong> widget from JetEngine<\/em><\/a> <\/em>pulls the posts\u2019 default metadata, such as publishing date, authors, and comments, and displays it in the Listing Grid<\/strong>.\u00a0This widget is versatile and fits every listing layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It can be placed below the post\u2019s title or thumbnail, have customized output, and links to a single post or author\u2019s archive page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n\n\n\n

Dynamic Meta<\/strong> widget settings can be found by navigating to WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Listings > Add New<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0Now, a new Listing Item template<\/strong><\/a> for the Custom Post Type <\/strong>should be built.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the newly created Listing template is opened with the Elementor editor, it can be completed with all the needed info using Dynamic Fields<\/strong><\/a>. Then the Dynamic Meta<\/strong> widget should be put to the template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n\n\n\n

Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Content <\/strong>section has three default tabs \u2013 date<\/strong>, author<\/strong>, and comments<\/strong>. Each field can be additionally customized by click.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n\n\n\n

Items can be switched places by drag and drop or by changing the Type <\/strong>in each type of the Content <\/strong>section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s also possible to set an Icon<\/strong>, Prefix<\/strong>, and Suffix <\/strong>for each field. An Icon <\/strong>can be selected from the Media library or uploaded by the user; a Prefix <\/strong>input will be placed before the item\u2019s content, and a Suffix <\/strong>input will be located after the item\u2019s content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n\n\n\n

Dynamic Meta <\/strong>widget can be used to show who the author is when the post was published and how many comments it has.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s possible to delete unnecessary items or add a new one. The last option, Layout<\/strong>, allows selecting either an \u201cInline<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>or \u201cList<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>layout for the widget items.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Date Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Date Settings<\/strong> section allows specifying the date Format <\/strong>for the post publication date. The format is set to \u201cF j, Y\u201d by default but can be changed to any combination<\/a>.\u00a0It\u2019s also possible to make the Date <\/strong>field clickable and redirect to the \u201cArchive\u201d or \u201cPost.\u201d If the field should be non-clickable, the Link <\/strong>can be set to \u201cNone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Author Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the Author Settings<\/strong> section, it\u2019s also possible to set the Link <\/strong>that will lead the user to the \u201cAuthor Archives\u201d or \u201cPost.\u201d This field\u2019s Link <\/strong>can be switched off when set to \u201cNone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Comments Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The final section is called Comments Settings<\/strong>. The Link <\/strong>of the Comments <\/strong>field can lead the visitors from the comments count to the post itself or remain non-clickable.
It\u2019s also possible to set the comments format for zero, one, or more comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Zero Comments Format <\/strong>input will be displayed in a case when the post in the Listing Grid<\/strong> has no comments yet;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • One Comments Format<\/strong> input will be displayed when there\u2019s only one comment for the post;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • More Comments Format<\/strong> input is used when the post has two or more comments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\"dynamic\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
