The Search<\/strong><\/a> widget is a widget of the JetBlocks<\/em><\/a> plugin for Elementor and Gutenberg. It works with posts, pages, custom post types, or templates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Search widget focuses on the search form traditionally placed in headers and customizes texts and buttons on the Form, Popup Box, Popup Trigger, Popup Close, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activation of the Search Widget<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To activate this widget, navigate to Crocoblock > JetBlocks > Widgets & Extensions.<\/em><\/strong> Move the Search<\/strong> toggle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"search\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adding the Search Widget<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Users can add this widget to any post, page, custom post type, or template. But traditionally, the Search<\/strong> widget is placed on the top of the page or in the header or on shop pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Search Widget Settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

General settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the General <\/strong>tab in Elementor and scroll down. The General<\/strong> tab has the following settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Search Placeholder<\/strong> field allows typing the text shown in the search field (\u201cSearch\u201d by default);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\"search\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Show Submit Button<\/strong> toggle, if enabled, shows the submit button and turns on the Submit Button Labe<\/strong>l field for typing a text on the appropriate button;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\"search\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Submit Button Icon<\/strong> and Clear Text Button Icon<\/strong> allows uploading or choosing from the library an SVG file to show on the submit button instead of the magnifying glass by default;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\"search\n\n\n\n

        • Show Search Form in Popup<\/strong> toggle, if enabled, turns on the Full Screen Popup<\/strong> toggle (to show the widget fully on a screen), Popup Trigger Icon,<\/strong> and Popup Close Button Icon<\/strong> (to upload or choose from the library an SVG file) and the Show Effect<\/strong> drop-down menu (to select an effect for the search form appearance as Fade, Scale, Move Up, Move Down);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\"search\n\n\n\n

          • Is Product Search<\/strong> toggle, if enabled, allows search in the WooCommerce products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

             Style settings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            The Style<\/strong> settings manage the widget Form, Popup Box, Popup Trigger, and Popup Close options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"search\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
