First Steps of Listing Creation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The listing can be created in the WordPress Dashboard > JetEngine > Listings<\/em><\/strong>\/Components <\/em><\/strong>directory. Here, one can create a new listing by clicking the \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d button or edit the already-built one by hovering over the item and pressing the \u201cEdit with Elementor<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before editing, the primary customizations should be made in the customization pop-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listing Source<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Listing source <\/strong>drop-down list includes the following options for selection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Posts<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With the \u201cPosts\u201d source<\/a>, the From post type <\/strong>drop-down appears to offer the post type source options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Query Builder<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

When choosing the \u201cQuery Builder\u201d source, the Query <\/strong>field appears with the list of the needed items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The From taxonomy <\/strong>field appears if the \u201cTerms<\/a>\u201d Listing source <\/strong>is picked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cUsers<\/a>\u201d Listing source <\/strong>doesn\u2019t need any specification; it works with WordPress users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Repeater Field<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

For the \u201cRepeater Field<\/a>\u201d source, an option should be picked in the From post type <\/strong>list. Then, the Repeater source <\/strong>field follows, where the next options are presented: \u201cJetEngine,\u201d \u201cJetEngine Options Page,\u201d and \u201cACF.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following line includes two fields: the Repeater field <\/strong>and the Repeater option<\/strong>. One should be chosen based on the earlier selected Repeater source<\/strong>, complete the Repeater field<\/strong> for the \u201cJetEngine\u201d or \u201cACF\u201d Repeater source, and fill in the Repeater option<\/strong> for the \u201cJetEngine Options Page.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listing item name and listing view<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After selecting the needed Listing source<\/strong>, two additional fields appear: Listing item name <\/strong>and Listing view<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Listing item name <\/strong>is a field for a listing name to distinguish it from other listings; it can be left empty so the name will be generated automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Listing view<\/strong> has four available options: \u201cElementor,\u201d \u201cGutenberg (Blocks Editor),\u201d \u201cBricks,\u201d and “Timber\/Twig.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, the Elementor settings for Listing <\/strong>will be described, so the \u201cElementor\u201d option should be picked.<\/p>\n\n\n

Initially, a listing is empty. The Elementor <\/em>panel allows adding the desired widgets to the template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except for the separate settings for each widget, the listing itself can be adjusted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To reach the Listing Item Settings<\/strong>, one should press the \u201cSettings<\/strong>\u201d button in the Elementor <\/em>panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Primarily, the General Settings <\/strong>tab opens where the default Title <\/strong>can be altered, and the Status <\/strong>of the Listing Item<\/strong> can be set. Among statuses are: \u201cDraft,\u201d \u201cPending Review,\u201d \u201cPrivate,\u201d and \u201cPublished.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the Listing Settings <\/strong>tab is opened, the Listing source <\/strong>can be changed to the ones mentioned earlier in the article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, the Preview Width <\/strong>can be specified here either by dragging the range or completing the field manually with the needed value in pixels.\u00a0The following Make listing item clickable <\/strong>switcher allows clicking on a listing to redirect to another page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
