To open the dynamic tags list, you have to click on the special button with a cylinder-shaped icon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynamic-tags-button.png\" alt=\"dynamic tags button\">\n\n\n\n<p>Just select the \u201cDynamic Function\u201d option in the list and click on it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/dynamic-function-settings.png\" alt=\"dynamic function settings\">\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"function\">Function<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can choose what calculations will be applied to the values of the chosen field:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Summed value<\/strong> \u2014 adds all the values and shows the sum;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Average value<\/strong> \u2014 takes all the values, adds them, and divides by their number to show the average;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Count <\/strong>\u2014 counts the number of post\/term\/user items where the chosen field is not empty;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Maximum\/Minimum value<\/strong> \u2014 takes all the values from the chosen field, compares them, and displays the maximal\/minimal one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"data-source\">Data Source<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, you can choose where to take the data from \u2014 Post, Term, or User meta fields.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have chosen the <strong>Post Meta<\/strong> option, you will be additionally asked to specify the <strong>Data Context. <\/strong>This is a drop-down where you can get more specific about the post type. The options are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All posts<\/strong> \u2014 the values will be taken from all posts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Posts from current term<\/strong> \u2014 you can set the term in the <strong>Taxonomy <\/strong>drop-down, and the values will be taken only from the posts of that taxonomy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Posts by current user<\/strong> \u2014 the values will be taken from the posts created by the current user;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Posts by queried user<\/strong> \u2014 you can specify the user in the <strong>Set user ID\/login\/email<\/strong> bar, and the values will be taken from the posts created by that user.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides that, if you have chosen the <strong>Post Meta<\/strong> option, you will be allowed to query the posts from which the values will be taken by status (in the <strong>Query by posts with status<\/strong> field) or by type (in the <strong>Query by posts with type<\/strong> drop-down menu).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"field-name\">Field Name<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to put the name of the meta field into this bar. The <strong>Dynamic Function<\/strong> will take the values from that field in all posts to which it is attached and do the calculation according to the <strong>Function<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"decimal-point\">Decimal Point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can set how the decimal point will look like. It can be any symbol you want, including letters and numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"thousands-separator\">Thousands Separator<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This bar allows you to set how the thousands separator will look, and it can also be any symbol you see fit, including letters or numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"decimals-count\">Decimals Count<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can set how many numbers after the decimal point will be shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s all about <strong>Dynamic Function<\/strong> settings.
