{"id":45171,"date":"2026-03-10T12:31:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T12:31:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/?post_type=features&#038;p=45171"},"modified":"2026-03-10T12:37:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T12:37:20","slug":"jetbooking-dashboard-overview","status":"publish","type":"features","link":"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/features\/jetbooking-dashboard-overview\/","title":{"rendered":"JetBooking Dashboard"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/plugins\/jetbooking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>JetBooking<\/em><\/a> is a WordPress booking plugin that allows the creation of booking and rental websites where users can book services and make payments on a daily or nightly basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The path to the <em>JetBooking<\/em> Dashboard is <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; Bookings.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>JetBooking<\/em> Dashboard has the following tabs: <strong>Bookings<\/strong>, <strong>Settings<\/strong>, <strong>Set Up<\/strong> (optional), and <strong>Calendars<\/strong> (optional).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"booking-data-collecting\">Booking Data Collecting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <em>JetBooking<\/em> plugin receives the booking data in the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>If a user books an item from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/features\/custom-post-type-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Custom Post Types (CPTs)<\/a><\/strong> preset in the dashboard settings. The <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/how-to-create-a-booking-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>How to Create a Booking Form<\/strong><\/a> tutorial explains how to allow booking order data collection using the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/plugins\/jetengine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>JetEngine<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>and <a href=\"https:\/\/jetformbuilder.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>JetFormBuilder<\/em><\/a><em> <\/em>plugins;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the site administrator(s) add(s) the booking order(s) manually via the <em>JetBooking <\/em>dashboard. More information is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/jetbooking-dashboard-overview\/#manual-booking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Manual booking<\/strong><\/a> chapter of this tutorial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bookings-tab\">Bookings Tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<p>The <strong>Bookings <\/strong>dashboard shows the following booking order data: <strong>ID<\/strong>, <strong>Instance<\/strong>, <strong>Unit<\/strong>, <strong>Check In<\/strong>, <strong>Check Out<\/strong>, <strong>Related Order<\/strong>, <strong>Status<\/strong>, and <strong>Actions<\/strong>. The list of statuses is the same for the <strong>WooCommerce integration<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Completed<\/strong> \u2014 the booking has been successfully fulfilled;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Processing<\/strong> \u2014 the booking is confirmed and being prepared or handled;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>On hold<\/strong> \u2014 the booking is temporarily reserved, awaiting confirmation or further action;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pending<\/strong> \u2014 the booking has been requested but not yet confirmed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Refunded<\/strong> \u2014 the booking has been canceled and a refund has been issued;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Canceled<\/strong> \u2014 the booking has been canceled, and no service will be provided;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Failed<\/strong> \u2014 the booking attempt was unsuccessful due to a payment or processing error;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Created<\/strong> \u2014 the booking entry has been created but may require further review or confirmation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Booking Item<\/strong> \u2014 a drop-down menu where the necessary item can be selected from one or several <strong>CPT<\/strong>s assigned in the <strong><em>Bookings &gt; Settings &gt; <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/features\/jetbooking-dashboard-overview\/#general\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>General<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em> &gt; Booking instance post type <\/em><\/strong>drop-down menu;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image text-center size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"553\" height=\"802\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/booking-item-selection-in-the-add-new-booking-pop-up.webp\" alt=\"booking item selection in the add new booking pop-up\" class=\"wp-image-48475\" srcset=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/booking-item-selection-in-the-add-new-booking-pop-up.webp 553w, https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/booking-item-selection-in-the-add-new-booking-pop-up-207x300.webp 207w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Check in <\/strong>and <strong>Check out<\/strong> dates<strong> <\/strong>\u2014 these two fields will remain locked until the <strong>Booking Item<\/strong> option is selected. Once set, they open calendars to select available dates. After these dates are selected for the current item, day slots will be blocked from being booked by another order;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User E-mail<\/strong> \u2014 a field that shows the email of the user who booked the instance;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Booking Price <\/strong>\u2014 a field that shows the calculated price for the booked apartments, depending on the price rates. More information is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/jetbooking-how-to-set-automatic-price-calculator\/#adjust-booking-price-and-pricing-rates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Adjust booking price and pricing rates<\/strong><\/a> chapter of the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/jetbooking-how-to-set-automatic-price-calculator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>How to Set Automatic Price Calculator<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>tutorial;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>DB tables <\/strong>\u2014 the following fields were added during the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/jetbooking-how-to-setup-booking-with-wizard-set-up\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>booking setup<\/strong><\/a> that can be filled with the additional information (e.g., additional services, number of guests, breakfasts, etc.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create WC Order<\/strong> \u2014 this toggle is available with the <em>WooCommerce <\/em>plugin installed and activated, and the <strong>WooCommerce integration<\/strong> toggle enabled in the <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; Bookings &gt; Settings &gt; General <\/em><\/strong>tab. It creates the booking order in the <strong><em>WordPress Dashboard &gt; WooCommerce &gt; Orders <\/em><\/strong>tab. This toggle also turns on the <strong>First Name<\/strong>, <strong>Last Name<\/strong>, <strong>Email Address<\/strong>, and <strong>Phone <\/strong>fields, which should be completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once all desired options are set, the \u201c<strong>Add New<\/strong>\u201d button can be clicked to create a new booking.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"note-banner d-flex border-bold border-jetsmartfilters rounded overflow-hidden p-20\"><div class=\"mr-12\"><svg width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M1 21H23L12 2L1 21ZM13 18H11V16H13V18ZM13 14H11V10H13V14Z\" fill=\"#FA5450\"\/><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"d-flex flex-column\"><div class=\"text-900 mb-12\">Warning<\/div><p class=\"m-0\">Note that the <strong>Status<\/strong>, <strong>Booking Item<\/strong>, <strong>Check in<\/strong>, and <strong>Check out date<\/strong> fields should be filled out to create a new booking.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"booking-units\">Booking units<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With the <em>JetBooking <\/em>plugin, the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/how-to-manage-units-via-the-wp-dashboard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>booking units<\/strong><\/a> feature is available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a new booking is created, it will automatically be assigned to the first or next available item, for example, a unit in the hotel. With the \u201cFiltered bookings\u201d option, the booking list should be narrowed down with the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/jetbooking\/jetbooking-dashboard-overview\/#booking-filters\"><strong>booking filters<\/strong><\/a> before exporting;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Export format<\/strong> \u2014 a drop-down menu to select the \u201cCSV\u201d (Excel sheet) or \u201ciCal\u201d format;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Booking instance returns<\/strong> \u2014 available only for the \u201cCSV\u201d option. Selects the type of information to be displayed in the columns for the booking instance: \u201cID\u201d or \u201cTitle\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Date format<\/strong>&nbsp; \u2014 available only for the \u201cCSV\u201d option. Allows specifying the format in which check-in and check-out dates should be displayed in the sheet columns.
