JetSmartFilters<\/em><\/a> <\/em>introduces the Listing <\/strong>functionality, which allows displaying the collection of items on the needed page and applying filters to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Listing <\/strong>building, one can set up the query (which elements will be shown) and the layout (how the elements will be displayed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Listing <\/strong>has an Item <\/strong>assigned to it, which is a template for a single post with the blocks inside. The available blocks allow for displaying titles, images, links, and more. The Item <\/strong>will be automatically repeated for every element in the Listing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listing Creation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The listings directory can be found by proceeding to the WordPress Dashboard > Smart Filters > Listing Builder <\/em><\/strong>dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, one can observe the list of the created listings (if there are any) or build new ones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To switch between the listings and items creation directories, the \u201cAll Listings<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cAll Items<\/strong>\u201d buttons are presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One can search among the available listings and items using the search bar and click the \u201cgear<\/strong>\u201d icon to access the Appearance<\/strong> and Property<\/strong> settings for the displayed list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To build a new listing, the \u201cAdd New Listing<\/strong>\u201d button should be pressed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, if the \u201cAll Items<\/strong>\u201d button is clicked and the items building directory is opened, the \u201cAddNew Item<\/strong>\u201d should be clicked to build a new item.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the \u201cAdd New Listing<\/strong>\u201d button is clicked, one will observe three tabs: Query<\/strong>, Layout<\/strong>, and Item<\/strong>. By default, the Query <\/strong>tab is opened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, one can select what content to display in the listing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the top of the Query <\/strong>tab, the QUERY TYPE <\/strong>field is available. It defines which data source will be used for the listing: \u201cPosts\u201d or \u201cJetEngine Query Builder.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cPosts\u201d option displays posts based on the settings configured directly in the Listing Builder,<\/strong> and \u201cJetEngine Query Builder\u201d uses a query previously created in JetEngine<\/em><\/a> <\/em>Query Builder<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
