{"id":30132,"date":"2022-11-04T10:14:15","date_gmt":"2022-11-04T10:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/tips-and-tricks\/displaying-appointment-capacity-on-the-single-service-page\/"},"modified":"2023-04-03T14:37:32","modified_gmt":"2023-04-03T14:37:32","slug":"displaying-appointment-capacity-on-single-service-page","status":"publish","type":"tips-and-tricks","link":"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/tips-and-tricks\/displaying-appointment-capacity-on-single-service-page\/","title":{"rendered":"Displaying Appointment Capacity on the Single Service Page"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The appointment capacity option allows you to set the maximum number of appointments for one time slot for every service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Displaying appointment capacity can be helpful if you have group services like language classes, group training, web conferencing, etc., to display how many participants can enter one session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consider that you can display appointment capacity not only on the Provider and Service Single Pages but also in the <a href=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/articles\/jetengine-what-is-a-listing-template\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Listing<\/strong><\/a> template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the <strong><em>JetAppointments > Settings <\/em><\/strong>tab on the WordPress Dashboard and enable the <strong>Manage Capacity<\/strong> and then the <strong>Show Capacity Counter<\/strong> toggles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/manage-capacity-toggle-2.png\" alt=\"manage capacity toggle\">\n\n\n\n<p>Then, navigate to the CPT tab that you set as the <strong>Services post type<\/strong> via the <em>JetAppointment <\/em>setup. In my case, it\u2019s the \u201cServices\u201d CPT. Click to edit any post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/services-post-type-tab-2.png\" alt=\"services post type tab\">\n\n\n\n<p>Move to the <strong>Appointment Settings <\/strong>tab, and set the <strong>Capacity <\/strong>number so clients can book, for example, only five appointments per day for this service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/appointment-settings-for-posts-2.png\" alt=\"appointment settings for posts\">\n\n\n\n<p>After that, hit the <strong>\u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button and repeat this step for other posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to <strong><em>Crocoblock > Theme Templates <\/em><\/strong>and click the <strong>\u201cEdit\u201d <\/strong>button under the Single Service template if you built it in the WordPress (block) editor or the <strong>\u201cEdit with Elementor\u201d <\/strong>button if you created it with Elementor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/theme-templates-2.png\" alt=\"theme templates\">\n\n\n\n<p>If you already have a Single Service Page, you can go to <strong><em>Crocoblock > Theme Builder<\/em><\/strong>, click three dots near the Single Service Body Template, and push the <strong>\u201cEdit content\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/theme-builder-2.png\" alt=\"theme builder\">\n\n\n\n<p>Drag-n-drop the <strong>Meta Field <\/strong>widget or block. Select the \u201cMeta Data\u201d <strong>Source <\/strong>and enter the \u201cjet_apb_post_meta\u201d line to the <strong>Custom meta field\/repeater key <\/strong>field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/custom-meta-field-repeater-key-2.png\" alt=\"custom meta field repeater key\">\n\n\n\n<p>Enable the <strong>Filter field output <\/strong>toggle and pick the \u201cGet child element from object\/array\u201d <strong>Callback<\/strong>. In the <strong>Child item name<\/strong> field, enter the \u201cmeta_settings\/_app_capacity\u201d line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish, you can also <strong>Customize field output<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/filter-field-output-2.png\" alt=\"filter field output\">\n\n\n\n<p>When you finish, push the <strong>\u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proceed to the front end and open several posts to check if the appointment capacity is
