Access the shop page with pre-selected filters directly from the home page by using the Dynamic Link<\/strong><\/a> widget customization in the Listing<\/strong><\/a> for terms, which is available with the JetSmartFilters <\/em>WordPress plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a Filter for Product Categories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to WordPress Dashboard > Smart Filters<\/em><\/strong> and click the \u201cAdd New<\/strong>\u201d button.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Type the Filter Name<\/strong> and select the Filter Type<\/strong>. In this tutorial, we use the \u201cCheckboxes list<\/a>\u201d type.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose the \u201cTaxonomies\u201d for the Data Source <\/strong>and select the Taxonomy <\/strong>from the dropdown (\u201cProduct feature\u201d here). For the remaining fields, we maintain the default settings.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the \u201cUpdate<\/strong>\u201d button once you are ready with the settings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Add the Filter to the Shop Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the Shop page in Elementor. In the left-side toolbar, find the Checkboxes Filter<\/strong> widget and drag and drop it to the desired page area.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Select the filter you have just created in the Select filter<\/strong> control. Pick the provider you use in the This filter type for <\/strong>dropdown (in this tutorial, we select the \u201cJetWooBuilder Products Grid\u201d option) and ensure that you choose \u201cMixed\u201d as the Apply type<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the \u201cPublish<\/strong>\u201d button once you are ready with the settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, proceed to the Shop page on the front end, select one of the options in the newly created checkbox filters, and copy its link to a safe location. It will be needed later. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure that the category number is not copied, stop right after the \u201c:\u201d sign.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create a Listing for Terms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following our How to Create a Listing Template for Custom Taxonomy in Elementor<\/strong><\/a> tutorial, we created the Listing Template<\/strong> for the product category.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the Elementor editor is opened, add the Dynamic Link<\/strong> widget. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure that the Source <\/strong>field is empty, and in the Custom field\/repeater key\/component control<\/strong>, put the non-existing field name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click the \u201cDynamic Tag<\/strong><\/a>\u201d icon next to the Label <\/strong>input and in the JetEngine <\/strong>section, find the \u201cTerm Field\u201d option. In the newly opened pop-up, select the needed Taxonomy <\/strong>and choose the \u201cTerm name\u201d option for the Field <\/strong>input.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, enable the Add Query Arguments<\/strong> toggle. In the newly opened field, add the following macro:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where the \u201cjsf=jet-woo-products-grid&tax=product_cat\u201d is the URL part we saved earlier. %queried_term% is a macro that helps pull up the filtered search results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the URL Prefix <\/strong>input, add the bare link to the shop. In this case, we use the \u201chttp:\/\/woocommerce.local\/shop\/\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After all the needed settings are applied, click the \u201cPublish<\/strong>\u201d button. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
Add the Listing to the Home Page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now, proceed to the editing page of the home page and add the Listing Grid<\/strong><\/a> widget. Select the Listing <\/strong>you have just created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proceed to the front end of the home page, where the term Listing <\/strong>is visible. Select any item and click it (here we select the \u201cWomen\u2019s Collections\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
