{"id":1192,"date":"2021-10-13T13:10:37","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T13:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/?post_type=article&#038;p=1192"},"modified":"2024-02-07T09:30:15","modified_gmt":"2024-02-07T09:30:15","slug":"compare-wishlist-not-working-for-not-logged-in-users","status":"publish","type":"troubleshooting","link":"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/troubleshooting\/compare-wishlist-not-working-for-not-logged-in-users\/","title":{"rendered":"Compare and Wishlist Functionality Not Working for Non-logged-in Users"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Proceed to <strong><em>Crocoblock &gt; JetPlugins Settings &gt; JetCompareWishlist. <\/em><\/strong>Then go to <strong>Compare <\/strong>and<strong><em> <\/em>Wishlist Settings<em> <\/em><\/strong>and set the <strong>Store type <\/strong>to <strong>\u201cCookies\u201d <\/strong>in one or both of those tabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/compare-wishlist-2.png\" alt=\"compare wishlist settings\">\n\n\n\n<p>If it didn\u2019t work, you could clear<strong> <\/strong>the<strong> <\/strong>cache and, as a last resort, deactivate the third-party plugins \u2013 one of them could be the reason for such a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to save the <strong>\u201cSession\u201d <\/strong>type, you could add the <strong>WP Session Manager <\/strong>plugin. On particular servers, the session sometimes goes broken when you switch to another page. The plugin fixes that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/wp-session-manager-2.png\" alt=\"wp session manager\">\n\n\n\n<p>If you have <strong>WP Rocket<\/strong> (this is the plugin for caching and optimization), open the <strong>Advanced rules<\/strong> tab and paste such an identifier into the <strong>Never Cache Cookies <\/strong>section:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>PHPSESSID\nSSESS<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/wp-rocket-cookie-rules-2.png\" alt=\"wp rocket cookie rules\">\n\n\n<div class=\"note-banner d-flex border-bold border-jetsmartfilters rounded overflow-hidden p-20\"><div class=\"mr-12\"><svg width=\"24\" height=\"24\" viewBox=\"0 0 24 24\" fill=\"none\" xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\"><path d=\"M1 21H23L12 2L1 21ZM13 18H11V16H13V18ZM13 14H11V10H13V14Z\" fill=\"#FA5450\"\/><\/svg><\/div><div class=\"d-flex flex-column\"><div class=\"text-900 mb-12\">Warning<\/div><p class=\"m-0\">Sometimes the functionality of the <strong>Save the list for logged users<\/strong> option could be misunderstood. It doesn\u2019t enable wishlist\/comparison features only for logged-in users. It saves the wishlist\/comparison data for the logged-in users, so they can return to the site after some time and see the saved products on the wishlist\/comparison pages again. If the <strong>Save the list for logged users<\/strong> option is toggled off, users will see their wishlist empty each time they revisit the site.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/save-the-list-for-logged-users-2.png\" alt=\"save the list for logged user\">\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s it.
