Instead of the date added to the post, you will get another result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, let\u2019s check what values should be represented during the Admin Filter creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/date-admin-filter-full-1024x588.png\" alt=\"date admin filter\">\n\n\n\n<p>Fill in the fields and mind to select the needed meta field. Update the post type once done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now the created options in the data filter will not look as you have typed them in. To fix this problem, use the <a href=\"https:\/\/gist.github.com\/MjHead\/493341a42b793ccc6cdb653ce932808a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">PHP code<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<script src=\"https:\/\/gist.github.com\/MjHead\/493341a42b793ccc6cdb653ce932808a.js\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>Head to <strong><em>Appearance > Theme Editor<\/em><\/strong>. Open the <strong>functions.php<\/strong> tab and scroll down till the end of the code. Paste the required PHP code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>. Paste the <strong>Meta Field Key<\/strong> related to the meta field you have used while creating the Admin Filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For instance, we have created the Admin Filter based on the <strong>Date Timestamp<\/strong> meta field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have put the following meta field key during the meta field adding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/date-timestamp-meta-field-full-1024x562.png\" alt=\"date timestamp meta field\">\n\n\n\n<p>The final result will look like in the picture below. Put the Meta Field Key into the highlighted segment instead of the &#8216;__date&#8217; example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/crocoblock.com\/knowledge-base\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/functions-php-code-full-1024x577.png\" alt=\"functions php code\">\n\n\n\n<p>Once done, click on the \u201c<strong>Update File<\/strong>\u201d button. Head to the CPT where the Date Admin Filter is added.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the filter and check if everything works fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\"
