When you have some issues with the User Profile Builder<\/strong><\/a>, there are three things that you can check in the JetEngine<\/em> or JetFormBuilder<\/em> plugin settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the Profile Builder Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n

Proceed to the WordPress Dashboard ><\/em><\/strong> JetEngine > Profile Builder<\/em><\/strong> ><\/em><\/strong> Pages <\/em><\/strong>tab and check if you selected the \u201cContent\u201d Template mode<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the active \u201cRewrite\u201d <\/strong>option, the content is displayed automatically, and you cannot edit it. If you try, you can get the error message: \u201cContent is not found.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cContent\u201d option means you\u2019ll need to use the Profile Content <\/strong>widget on your Account or User page to display the content from the needed templates. Then, you can customize the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the Form for Adding New Posts\/Users<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

JetFormBuilder<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you create the new post <\/strong>addition form<\/strong><\/a> with the JetFormBuilder<\/em><\/a> <\/em><\/strong>plugin, find it in the WordPress Dashboard > JetFormBuilder > Forms <\/em><\/strong>tab and click to edit.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cAdd new post\u201d form doesn\u2019t need the \u201cpost_id\u201d Hidden Field<\/strong><\/a> block so that you can delete it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you decide to keep this block, move to the JetForm <\/strong>section and unfold the Post Submit Actions <\/strong>tab. Click the \u201cpencil<\/strong>\u201d icon under the \u201cInsert\/Update Post\u201d action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ensure the FIELD MAP <\/strong>section has no selected options in the post_id<\/strong> drop-down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JetFormBuilder form<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cpost_id\u201d Hidden Field<\/strong><\/a> is required for the editing form. Select the \u201cURL Query Variable\u201d FIELD VALUE option<\/strong> and enter \u201c_post_id\u201d as the QUERY VARIABLE KEY <\/strong>(the macro is \u201c_post_id=%current_id%\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check the settings of the Dynamic Link<\/strong> widget<\/a> or block<\/a> that redirects to the edit post form as well. The Add Query Arguments<\/strong> toggle should be enabled, and the \u201c_post_id=%current_id%\u201d macro should be added to the Query Arguments <\/strong>textarea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
