You can learn about Conditional Visibility Rules<\/strong> for form fields in this tutorial<\/strong><\/a>. Here we explain how to set conditional logic for specific posts or terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go to JetEngine > Forms<\/em> <\/strong>and click on the \u201cEdit<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>button under the needed form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"jetengine\n\n\n\n

Make sure that you have created the needed fields for posts or terms. Then, hit the \u201cSet up conditional rules<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>button in the field that you want to show or hide according to the conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"set\n\n\n\n

In the Field,<\/strong> choose the field\u2019s name. We have selected the field with the posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can choose \u201cEqual\u201d or another option in the Operator<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n

Be aware that the \u201cEqual\u201d option works for the Radio<\/strong> and Select<\/strong> types of fields; for the Checkboxes<\/strong>, choose the \u201cIn the list\u201d option.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\"edit\n\n\n

In the Value to compare<\/strong>, enter the post IDs<\/strong>. If you enter the post titles<\/strong>, it doesn\u2019t work because Radio<\/strong>, Checkbox<\/strong>, and Select<\/strong> fields get the value post ID by default.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

If you want to get value from the post title<\/strong> or another meta field, click to edit the field for posts and enter the name of any meta field. The condition will get the value from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"value\n\n\n\n

The settings described above also work for the field for terms. As you can notice, we have used the \u201cIn the list\u201d Operator <\/strong>because our field type is the Checkbox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"conditional\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget to push the \u201cApply Changes\u201d <\/strong>button after editing all fields and conditions and the \u201cUpdate\u201d <\/strong>button after you finish changing the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have added the form on the page in the Elementor editor and proceeded to the front end. Without any choices, we can see only two fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"form\n\n\n\n

The fields will still be hidden if we select the posts and terms whose IDs haven\u2019t been entered in the Value to compare <\/strong>fields in conditional logic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
