JetEngine Compatibility with Yoast SEO
From this short tutorial, you will learn how to choose the meta fields that will be available for parsing by the Yoast SEO plugin.
By default, the Yoast SEO plugin checks only the main content of the post – its title and body. However, if you add meta fields to the posts, it would probably be useful to parse them, too. The JetEngine SEO functionality allows you to give the Yoast SEO plugin access to Text, Textarea, and WYSIWYG meta fields (if they are added to the Repeater field, too) and even specify which fields exactly will become visible to the app.
Open your dashboard and go to JetEngine > JetEngine Dashboard. If you have installed the Yoast SEO plugin on your website, you will see the SEO menu tab.
In this window, you can see all the Custom Post Types created by you and all Text, Textarea, and WYSIWYG meta fields (separate and inside the Repeater field) attached to them. When you tick the checkbox near the name of the meta field, it becomes available for parsing by the Yoast SEO plugin. Afterward, click on the “Save” button.
And that is as simple as that. Check the posts to make sure the meta fields are also parsed by the Yoast SEO plugin.
