JetAppointment Overview
JetAppointment is a WordPress appointment plugin for Elementor and Gutenberg. Its features help you implement appointment booking functionality, add services and providers, create workflows, set up recurring appointments, and manage them from one dashboard.
Appointment Schedule Types Overview
There are three Appointment Schedule Types – Slot, Time Picker, and Recurring, all available in the JetPlugins Settings. Schedule Types represent the appointment schedule behavior. The Slot option allows you to set a fixed duration time for appointments. The Time Picker option makes it possible for end users to specify the appointment time. The Recurring option helps users book appointments continuously over a certain period of time. It is similar to multi-booking but has its differences.
Appointment Workflows
A workflow is a sequence of actions performed after a specific trigger. Appointment Workflows is a feature allowing you to set those triggers and actions and make them run for a given appointment type. You can create separate workflow items, each having a specific trigger event, starting point, and a list of custom actions. Using workflows, it is possible to create a centralized routine for sending appointment requests, confirmation emails, event reminders, and scheduling Zoom meetings.
Appointment Confirmations
Appointment Confirmations is a JetAppointment feature accessible from the JetPlugins Settings dashboard. It covers automatic email sending to a service provider where they can approve or cancel the requested appointment. The email contains custom confirmation messages and two URLs, each of them storing a unique token for a specific appointment. Both the token and URLs are recorded in the appointment metadata. The appointment status will change depending on the link a service provider chooses to follow.
