From this tutorial, you’ll learn how to filter different providers with the help of one filter from the JetSmartFilters plugin. You’ll simply need to enable the Additional Providers List option in the Elementor > JetSmartFilters Settings and choose providers you would like to filter. You can see the list of the available providers in the JetSmartFilters settings.
For example, you can filter widgets from JetEngine, JetWooBuilder, and Elementor Pro at the same time. After you’ve clicked on the filter, you’ll see the result on several widgets. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Now, let’s have a closer look at this process.
Additional Providers List option overview
1 Step — Preparation
Firstly, you need to create the content that you’ll be further filtering with the JetSmartFilters plugin. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to filter the posts displayed in the Listings Grid and Maps Listing widgets from the JetEngine plugin, but you can also filter widgets from the JetWooBuilder plugin or Elementor Pro’s widgets.
I’ll create a custom post and display its content with the help of the Listing Grid and Maps Listing widgets. Please, check this tutorial to find out how to create a custom post and check another one to get to know how to display a custom post with the help of the Listing Grid. Also, have a look at our guide on how to operate with the Maps Listing.
Then, you’ll need to set up a filter to filter your content. You can choose the most suitable filter type. Also, feel welcome to look for the needed information about how to achieve this in our Knowledge Base.
I’ll create a Checkboxes filter to filter posts by the name of the country.
Once you’re done, navigate to the needed page where you would like to display your content.
2 Step — Additional Providers List option
Now, let’s use Listing Grid and Maps Listing widgets to display the content from the posts and apply a Checkbox filter to them. Drag-n-drop the needed filter widget to the page and apply this filter to the needed provider. Then, toggle on the Additional Providers Enabled option.
Afterward, you’ll see the Additional Providers List field where you’ll need to choose providers for filtering.
3 Step — Filter in action
The last step is to check how the filter works.
Congrats! Now you know how to filter more than one provider with the help of the filter from the JetSmartFilters plugin.
