Creating data-driven and dynamic websites can be a challenge, especially when working with complex structures and modern frontends. In this case study, WordPress developer Atif Jan shares how he uses Crocoblock’s JetEngine to streamline development, build scalable solutions, and push WordPress beyond its traditional limits.

So let’s dive in and explore how he builds flexible, high-performing WordPress websites.

About Me

Hi, I’m Atif Jan, a WordPress developer and digital marketing specialist. Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of projects – from service showcases to international NGO and corporate websites. My passion is to create modern, functional, and dynamic websites that help businesses grow and connect with their audiences.

Experience with WordPress and Crocoblock

I’ve been working with WordPress for several years and have developed a strong foundation in custom development using JetEngine and other Crocoblock tools. Most of what I’ve learned comes from hands-on experience – building real projects, experimenting with new workflows, and exploring how far WordPress can go when combined with dynamic tools.

Favorite Types of Projects

I’m most passionate about creating dynamic and data-driven websites, including service listings, membership portals, NGO platforms, and business directories. Each project is an opportunity to create tailored, flexible solutions that meet the unique goals and functional needs of each client.

Projects I’m Proud Of

Some of the projects that best reflect my approach include:

  • Service Showcase Project. Built with JetEngine CCT + REST API and a modern AI-powered front end.

Each project challenged me to explore new methods and maximize Crocoblock’s dynamic capabilities.

Key Challenges

In most of my projects, the main challenges include:

  • Creating headless WordPress setups, using it as a back end and a separate modern front end.
  • Delivering responsive, user-friendly, and professional designs that don’t look and feel “just WordPress.”
  • Ensuring performance, SEO, and security are all balanced with design.

How Crocoblock Helped?

Crocoblock, especially JetEngine, has been essential in overcoming these challenges. Features like Custom Content Types (CCT), REST API, and the Query Builder make it easy to structure complex data while keeping the workflow efficient.

For support, I often rely on both Crocoblock’s official team and the community on Facebook, which has been incredibly helpful for troubleshooting and new ideas.

Main tools and technologies used:

Features used most often:

CCT, REST API endpoints, Query Builder, and dynamic templates.

Advice for New Developers

Start small and learn by doing. Crocoblock provides you with all the necessary tools, but the real progress comes from experimentation, especially with CCTs, the Query Builder, and dynamic templates.
