Why do people turn to WordPress? For many, it’s the flexibility, the ease of getting started, and the opportunity to build something meaningful without needing a full developer background. However, the real power emerges when beginners become confident enough to explore dynamic content, create advanced features, and step into the world of Crocoblock plugins.
That’s exactly what happened with Teresa Poddar, a freelance web designer and developer from Bangladesh. She began learning in 2024, and in a short time, she has already built fully functional, dynamic websites with JetPlugins. Let’s hear her out.
The Introduction
Hi! I’m Teresa Poddar, a freelance web designer and WordPress developer from Bangladesh. I started my journey in 2024. My main motivation was to become financially independent, but I also wanted to do something meaningful and creative. Web development provided me with that combination; it’s both technical and artistic.
Right now, I’m working independently, building WordPress websites with Elementor and JetPlugins. I’m still growing, but I already feel proud of what I’ve accomplished.
Experience
Although I’m still early in my career, I’ve spent many months studying and experimenting with various tools and techniques. My learning involved much more than just theory. I’ve built demo sites for different types of businesses, ranging from blogs to service-based websites and small online shops. Each site taught me something new, and every challenge I encountered was an opportunity to dig deeper and find creative solutions for my projects.

I focused on Elementor because it provided me with the flexibility to design freely. Then I discovered JetPlugins, which truly opened the door to more advanced functionality. That’s when things started to click, and I felt like I was no longer just “designing” websites, but actually developing full-featured platforms.

What Projects Do You Like to Work With?
I really enjoy building eCommerce websites, business pages, portfolios, and blogging platforms.
- eCommerce projects especially grab my attention because they involve more than just aesthetics; you have to consider usability, customer flow, product management, and performance. It’s challenging but rewarding.
- Portfolios are fun as well because they’re often very visual and personal. I love helping people present their skills or services in a clear and professional manner.
- Blogging platforms are another favorite because they rely heavily on dynamic content (posts, categories, filters), and that’s where JetPlugins really shine. I enjoy work that combines creativity and structure.

Challenges
One of the hardest parts in the beginning was understanding how dynamic content works in WordPress. When I first encountered Custom Post Types, meta fields, and content relations, I felt a bit overwhelmed. I wanted to go beyond basic pages and create websites with smart layouts that automatically pull data, such as listings for properties, services, or blog posts by category.
It took time and a lot of trial and error to figure out how all the pieces fit together. I had to learn not only how to use the plugins but also how WordPress logic works in general. However, once I started using JetEngine, the process made much more sense. I could build what I imagined without having to modify much code.

Results / Solution
Crocoblock completely changed my work routine. JetEngine has become my favorite tool for creating custom post types, taxonomies, listing grids, and custom templates. Rather than hardcoding everything, I can build dynamic templates that automatically adapt to the content.
JetSmartFilters significantly improved usability. I could allow users to easily sort and filter content, whether it’s a blog, product catalog, or service list. This enhancement allows for building interactive websites more quickly and easily.

So far, I’ve built pages like Home, About, Services, Blog, and Contact. I also created dynamic listing pages that pull content based on filters and conditions. I usually find answers to my questions in the Crocoblock Community, and if not, YouTube and Google always help.
Briefly
- Must-have plugin — definitely JetEngine, it gives full control over dynamic content, without having to write PHP or JavaScript;
- Preferred editor — Elementor Page Builder, because it’s visual, intuitive, and works smoothly with JetPlugins;
- Team size — I work solo right now, handling everything myself (design, development, and testing), but I hope to collaborate with others in the future.
Advice for Newbies
Don’t expect everything to be easy at first. Learning takes time, but it pays off. Try to tackle things on your own before rushing to find answers. It’s okay to fail; just keep trying. Watch tutorials, follow other developers, and experiment with your own demo projects.
And most importantly: don’t be lazy. Challenge yourself to learn something new every day. Technology continues to evolve, and we must grow with it. Make learning a daily habit. Even 30 minutes a day accumulates quickly.
Takeaways
WordPress is vast, and the community surrounding it, especially the Crocoblock users, is incredibly welcoming and supportive. Don’t hesitate to ask questions or share your work online; that’s how you improve. Each site you build enhances your skills. Keep showing up, even if the progress seems slow at first; it’s all part of the journey.
